For Seafood.."STRAUBS" is one of the best...located on SR-436 about a mile east of I-4..."Charlies Steakhouse" has always been great..been in same location for years... in the vicinity of US-441 & Oakridge. Now if your interested in a good lunch..its hard to beat "Uncle Jones" BBQ..on SR-436 1/4 mile west of US 17-92...small family run been there for years...buffet all you can eat..traditional deep south cooking...looks like a dump but is great.

Take your money to Charlie's.....A bit pricey, but one worthwhile experience, and even if you are not hungry for dessert, have them bring the dessert tray to your table, you will not believe the size of these things. My favorite is the Chocolate Grand Marnier Cake!!!!!!!!!!!! Also for a VERY entertaining lunch buffet you could check out Rachel's on South Orange and Sand Lake Road:thumb:

If you like Sushi, check out Amura on Church St. Huge menu and everything is good.

Enjoy!

If price is of no concern- then I recommend Del Frisco's on Lee Road couple blocks west of I-4. Their specialty is steak, but they have some huge lobsters and other seafood. Dinner for two without drinks will run you around $100-$150 depending on what you like. A simple 1.5 lb lobster can run you @60 alone. But the food is excellent and the service is impeccible.

In Winter Park there is Brio which is a blend of Italian and Tuscan menu. In the same area is a Ruth Cris, Bonefish.

At the Millenia mall there is another Brio, and a nice seafood restaurant.

Each of these that I mention cover a seperate area of Orlando so I guess it depends on what part of Orlando you will be staying in.

Nightclubs: Got to check of Roxy on Monday nights. It's an amatuer boxing night. They have no card of fighters. Customers sign up to fight and they are matched up by weight. They climb into the ring and beat the snot out of each other. Very entertaining.

Don't know what kind of setting you are looking for, for the Super Bowl,,,,,But The Orlando Ale House always has a $50.00 all you can eat and all you can drink during the game. They have 35 TV's and only sell the amount of seats available. You must get a ticket in advance, but there about 7 of them scattered around town now, if you're looking for a casual and loud crowd. Other than that there's always the ESPN Zone on Disney's Boardwalk.........I know Charlies just have the lobster tails, they also have the only kind of lobster I like which is an Austrailian Lobster. ,,,,,,,The only thing this damned post is doing for me is getting me more pissed off that I moved ( Hopefully Temporarily ) to Mississippi. I really miss Orlando, spent the last 11 years there. ......Enough of my sob story, enjoy your visit. :D

Not following the "Sorry for the jones " remark???????????

If you're asking about locations for the Ale House, there are many more than 3........but there are three close to where you will be:

Kirkman, about a half a mile from the Universal Studios Entrance

Lake Buena Vista, which will be the closest one to you and is the largest of the three.

South Orange Blossom Trail (SR 441)....The smallest and directly in front of the Florida Mall

I can't stand the manager of the Kirkman store, so I would hate to give him any revenue..........Lake Buena Vista will probably be your best bet. Won't be terribly far away and plenty of room to move.

Let me know if you have any other questions...........
