Bale gonna win although Matthew Maconahey (however the fuk you spell it) did a great job in the Dallas Buyers Club.

Amy Adams looks strong.

Time for Bradley Cooper although I don't think of him as an Academy winning type actor.

Rooting for Jennifer Lawrence again! I bet the chick from that slave movie wins though.

I did like Christian Bale and Amy Adams but for the movie itself I guess I just didn't get American Hustle... :shrug:

Nothing to get. It was based on a true story and was trying to be funny--I smiled once and sorta laughed one other time.
Highly over-rated in my opinion, but I wouldn't be surprised to see it win a few awards.
It won't win Best Picture, that's a lock....:0corn

I thought that Cate Blanchett was a lock to get the best actress nomination....Then I saw Osage County & thought Meryl Streep was masterful....So now I think it is a battle between the 2....

I saw American Hustle & while I liked, I thought that Wolf of Wall Street & Osage County were better movies....I hope to see Nebraska in the next couple of days....

I saw Gravity & I liked it, but not as much as the 2 that I mentioned....Generally I like Sandy as an actress, but she has no chance of winning the Oscar....

When I was an insurance broker, I had a client who had aids....I watched him deteriorate over the months....As a result of that I try not to see any movie about aids so I didn't see Dallas Buyers Club....
