I would think losing Savage would be a letdown for Montreal, Berizin they say will play Sat. if he passes a physical.

Last time Ott played them they won 6-4 with Savage in on 4 of the 6 goals, might be a little revenge here but Ottawa is such a Jekyl and Hyde team, you never know who's going to show up.

I think i'm staying away from this one, would like the over at 5 but I think it will be 5.5.

I remember reading that martin had some psycholo come in the dressing room to give them a boost before mid season. ANYONE HAS ANY INPUT.........

Martin is putting lots of his focus on not having a let down at this stage of the season.
On the other hand montreal looks happy that they did not so bad in there last 21 games, 17 of them being on the road. Looking for a let down?

Their near the playoffs but they trade a guy that is one of their leaders because they can't afford him next year.
Not a good sign for a team that needs to play more on enthusiasm than talent and goes out and trades one of their quality players, not a sign the team is building for the future.

Berizen has shown nothing since being traded, might be a good fit for Gilmour, but Berezin has never been much of a team player.

See how they come out today.

Montreal players didn't look very enthousiastic in the media.
Therrien has been a motivator but this doesn't look good.
let down?

Frogy,

Can't decide on the total with this one. It could be a high scoring game. On the other hand I really like Ott. in this spot. I posted on my thread about how they only play once in the next 9 days so I am going with the team that will give it more. Hope this helps.

i wanted to add that mtl needs 3 more goals to brake the 10,000 goals for the franchise,
some player are triing to guess who will score it and it looks like a big thing in the locker room.
make what you want of it.

I know it's late in the night to be throwing around a wet blanket, the Canucks game just looks under to me tonight.
The Nucks will be a little tired and this is a little bit of a letdown after the big game last night. This game is interconference, if it is tied in the third niether team will take the risk of giving up important playoff points.
OT? nobody will want to give up even a single point towards playoff position. The Nucks will believe they can make up positioning against out of conference teams. From now til the end of the season we need to pay attention to playoff seeding in each conference.
I just don't see the red light going on 6 times tonight in Cow town.
