Not real surprising. They've been overrated all season.

See how idiotic that sounds , Freeze and TCSN and the rest????

See Freeze, you have to win games, and almost every game is a challenge these days. Just like last year when Oklahoma lost to a BAD OK St., they just choked under the pressure against a BAD A&M team. So, so sorry about that.

The vaunted defense! LMFAO

Yup, Ohio St. is the overrated team.

hey at least i can admit when my team plays bad.....ohio state would get killed by Iowa right now.....

Sooners have beaten 3 very good teams.....play one bad game and lose.....

could have put grandma in at QB for Purdue today the way that offense looked and they still would have given buckeyes a game....

i don't see how idiotic i look when declaring Ohio State overrated....and yep if OU played buckeyes tomorrow OU would be favored by a ten spot on a neutral field....

Miami is better than OSU and so are Texas, Iowa, and yes Oklahoma....A&M played their best game of the year and frosh McNeal finally got a chance and looked like the real deal....

oh yeah -- one other thing -- if i am such an idiot why did i pick A&M today and also suggested the ML play kosar?????

Freeze,

It's not that your idiotic, but the incredible landslide against Ohio St. here in the last 2 weeks in a bit strange.

What 3 'really good teams' have Oklahoma beaten and have you always considered those teams 'really good'?

Shouldn't have OK lost to Missouri? Or at least, wouldn't you have bet on that happening with 6 minutes to go in that game?

No way would OK be favored by 10 points on a neutral field. They would be 4 to 4' point favorites. Too bad we won't be able to see for sure. If only OK had a defense like Ohio St.

'play one bad game and lose'. That's right, that's what happens when you play a bad game, but let you guys tell it, OSU plays bad games every week. How come they don't lose?

Excuses about frosh qb's and best games of the year don't cut it. OK lost as a 10 point fave because their defense is, once again, overrated.

Give it up, Freeze, you talk trash nonstop. It's easy to say, 'we played a bad game'. Ummmmm, yeah. That's why OK is OK.

If Ohio St. wins out, we'll be there for sure (probably thanks to the choking sooners). If OSU doesn't win out, then I can at least be thankful that the overrated Sooners will probably be watching Chris Simms playing against Miami. But definitely they'll be watching somebody.

because OSU plays garbage week in and out....thats why they dont lose.....how many teams have they played on the road with a winning record? why should OSU get to go to Fiesta and not Bowling Green? BG has looked better than OSU and played similar schedules....Ohio State has been given the games they have won...Penn State, Cincy and Purdue all gave them games..

3 good teams OU beat -- Col, Iowa State, Texas......

survived a scare against Mizzou....actually i did bet against them that game....and against Alabama they looked bad too

btw....i agree that OU should be ranked behind Texas even though they beat them....i think the higher ranked team should be the one with more quality road wins and a more respectable loss.....

OU's defense sucked today.....mentioned that in another thread...but McNeal also played great......

TIME TO MAKE $$$ said:

BG lost today to N. Illinois

Yeah, BG lost by nine as 4 pt favs and oklahoma lost by 4 as nine pt favorites. Weird. Kinda like all those Lincoln/Kennedy coincidences.

Oh, and Freeze i'm not sure I would take Texas, Iowa St and Colorado over Washington St., Penn St. and (if they beat them) Michigan. It's debatable, certainly no clear winner as to 'who has beat who'. So you can save that nonsense.

Hmm Ohio State is overrated, what have they done to justify all the hype. All they've done is escape with their lives against some so-so teams.

Even with Oklahoma losing they'd still be atleast a 5-7 pt favorite on Ohio State & actually beat them. I really wish we had a playoff system as they what if's would probably turn into a reality.

Oklahoma has played the better schedule & has looked more impressive then Ohio State has. Lets just look at their schedules:

Oklahoma:

Tulsa

Alabama

UTEP

South Florida

Missouri

Texas

Iowa State

Colorado

Texas A&M

Ohio State:

Texas Tech

Kent

Washington State

Cincinnati

Indiana

Northwestern

San Jose State

Wisconsin

Penn State

Minnesota

Purdue

Just looking at those schedules alone Oklahoma has played better teams. Some can knock me & I wouldn't care but if Ohio State played Texas Tech & Washington State now, I'm totally sure they'd walk away with one loss if not 2.

Compare any Big 12 conf team schedule w the USC Trojans schedule:

Auburn
@ (19)Colorado
@ (23)Kansas St
(24)Oregon St
@(17)Washington St
California -- deserve to be ranked
(17)Washington
@(12)Oregon
@Stanford
(24)Arizona St -- wont retain #
@UCLA
(10)Notre Dame

2 losses @KSt & @Wash St. With 4 road games v ranked teams under their belt who could deserve a shot at the title more than the Trojans! I couldnt see Miami, Texas, Oklahoma or Ohio St competing against the above slate & going undefeated. Those 4 teams have a combined total of 2(!!!) road games v ranked opponents.

TCSN -- I would give the edge to Ohio St over Oklahoma in non conf strength of schedule. Tulsa, UTEP & So Fla might be too tough for Snyder @ KSt to schedule but no one else is scared of those programs.

i cant believe nobody remembers the alabama game. that was a lucky win at home!!!!!!!! now lose to an AM team that had 2 or 3 losses at home already this year. sooners defense has been exploited a few times now this year! and whats there fg unit like? i never really thought any of the undefeated teams were overrated this year. but all the bashing u guys do of ohio st. u have to be able to take it when your team plays chitty and CANT pull out the victory. this iowa st. team just got pounded for another lose. all the buckeyes can do is play the schedule thats in front of them. i hope they win in another low scoring battle at illini so u guys can all talk some more trash into MICHIGAN WEEK. ANYWAY HOPE U GUYS HAD A GOOD $ DAY! and to all those tenn. upset minded people - not this year. bite the bullewt and regroup for next season. hopefully that idiot WASHINGTON leaves the program:thefinger

im out!:D 11-0 6pts, scored against them not 30!!
