does 5dimes offer true track payouts on all wagers? I never noticed this until last year but some books do not and you definitely dont want to be using a book that limits payouts on the derby. or on any race really.

for example, maybe you can clarify this but this is what I saw last year on 1vice...

on their rules page they have a little chart and it says for Trifecta wagers, the payout is limited to 200-1 odds.

while it might sound like a nice large # at first glance, this is really a huge negative and disadvantage if you are playing trifectas.

if I understand it correctly according to that, this scenario happens....

say you bet a $1 straight trifecta in the Kentucky Derby last year 19-6-5....the track payout for that $1 trifecta was $766.40.....if you bet that straight bet at 1vice, to my understanding, the win would be capped at $200? so you'd be missing out on over $550 of the track payout.

in 2011, a $1 trifecta paid out over $2,900...if your win is capped, look at how much you are losing out on.

I think any book that offers racing should be paying true track odds considering how many places you can legally bet online horse racing with ease in the states.

I assume 5dimes does pay out true track odds but everyone should do their homework first. If you are lucky enough to hit the derby trifecta which is usually pretty high paying, and come to realize youre payout is capped at $200 bucks or something when the tri paid 3k, thatd be hugely disappointing.

click on their site,

Payouts are based on the actual track payout. The odds quotes listed in the race program are informational and are not used to calculate the payouts. Your account will reflect any payouts once the race is graded.

The following table shows the maximum total bet that will be paid out at actual track odds:
