Truly love this

:0008 Sports I sometimes read this little meditation & today's seemed fitting.

" Fortunate are the people with deep roots " Deep roots offer strength & stability , they nourish it plentifully. They anchor it when fierce winds blow. We discover that all things can be handled; no situation is too much for us. Strength , confidence , freedom from fear are the benefits of our deepening roots.

I know kinda deep but I like it !

My wife stepped in for a day last week to give me a break....She gave mom a shower and did her hair, when mom was heading to heading to her chair mom yells to my step dad "I'm done with my shower she'll give you yours now".....My wife was mortified.....

Funny....

Luckily for us, the aides in the nursing home handled the showers for my mom....

Thanks for making me smile Sports. Loved the stories and brought back memories of my Grandpa.

So many of my Grandpas most annoying traits, at the time, are the ones I miss the most now that he is gone.

I'd love to have him frantically call me again that he couldnt get out of the shitter in time to get the door for the person who was dropping off his pills, and that stupid fucker wouldnt just open his door even though there is a note to just leave the pills on his dining room table.

For me to "annoyingly" drop everything and drive across town to get his pills and "while I am out grab him some KFC", guy loved KFC, and then when I get to his house to get him his pills and ask if he wanted some water to take his freshly acquired pills, he states "Oh, I already took that pill, these are for next week"

We then had KFC and shot the shit about the weather and how he couldnt believe that person wouldnt read his note and just drop off his pills inside his house.

That was the last time I spent with my Grandpa.

Anyways, loved, LOVED the stories, enjoy your week with them.
