New Orleans
The indicted black US rep, William Jefferson, ran again for his seat and has made the runoff. Jefferson was caught red-handed taking bribes which he stored in the freezer of his home. He set up fake corporations that fleeced humanitarian aid supposedly meant for africans in need. He operated with african leaders to pull off this scheme. It is impossible for him to avoid jail time in this case unless a technicality gets him off the hook.

I am outraged that the citizens of new orleans that voted this jackass into the runoff. He is extremely popular with the uneducated black voters, including those who are bussed to the polls and provided a free hot dog and chili meal for their trouble!!!!! Too bad I have no say in this because the populus is 70% black, and apparently very few of them care about the city. Status quo is perfect for those who voted for William Jefferson, because at least these folks know that the handouts will continue.

Sad day in my home town. And I, for one, will now consider moving. Things will never change here until the citizens get their shit together.

Cie: I had the same feelings toward Detroit (my hometown) when the dumb asses voted in and then re-elected that piece of crap Kwame Kilpatrick as Mayor.

This is why I seriously think voting should NOT be a right. Letting idiots vote criminals into office hurts everyone.

or visa versa---letting criminals vote politicians into office--don't forget the liberals disenfranchised felons -acorn and others are trying to register.
Compliments the liberal push for no ID's--don't ya think ;)

I dont see muck difference in what was done there then what the nation has done on a whole, take out the "black-uneducated and free meals" and you have the Democracy we so believe in. The "superior intellectuals and never hungry caucassions" voted in Bush and theres no complaints of that criminal act. We should just move out of the states together, anyone have a good spot where the American dollar still holds value and allows you to live comfortably?

I have a buddy who is worth a couple of million and he is worried about his moms fortune which is probably getting drilled right now. I can hear it in his voice. I told him pretty soon when the thieves get done ripping off all of our money, he is gonna have to make some adjustment in his life. I told him it is gonna be rough on him. I said to him that a guy like me who lives like im in poverty, will not have to make any type of adjustment at all.:mj07: Poor guy is hurting. His family has lost more money this year then i probably made in my lifetime. He told me he has been cutting back and staying in every night. I told him that the 50 dollars he is saving doesn't compare to the ten grand a day they steal from him. :sadwave :sadwave:

Ditto: A friend of mine(female) had enough money to leave her job and her husband leave his return to school and both of them get there Masters degree without having to work the entire time, after this all happened now they are deciding who is gonna go back to school and where that person is gonna get a part time job at.......she was crying like she lost her puppy, which I understand.....she said she was better off taking her money when she was going to and traveling the world as she always HAD plans on doing, now to make it worse she's been stuck in India(her homeland) trying to get home(USA) because the comapny she is over there for hasnt renewed her work visa, shes an accountant and was on a client in India and they let her visa expire thus she's been there for an extra month, not knowing when she can get home to be with her husband and family here in the USA. Talk about sad enough to cry....she even made me feel bad for her and Im not the teary eyed guy, especially for those who always had life financially easy, as I came from the lower ranks and still live as I still am there....not too far from it, but I am semi comfortable now. Just pitiful how millions of people got screwed over and just get nothing but a bunch of lame ass politicians acting like it had to happen. Then turning around and "charging" the same people(us included) to get the mess fixed. Old people and young ones alike are having there lives stripped of the comfort they once enjoyed for merely doing nothing wrong

Judge if we all took left for Panama im sure the press would find some dictator over there to scare us into staying home. Remember we are the greatest country in the world and we do everything the best.
