Angels/Yankees-Total opened @ 9 but is now 8.5 which is interesting since the $$$ is spilt 45%-55% so far. No matter in this contest because I believe this one will "SAIL" OVER 8.5, 9 or even 10!!! :yup The Angels have gone OVER in 10 of the 12 games they have played so far in the month of August & the OVER is 11-2 in CJ Wilson's starts on the road this year. The OVER is 20-5-1 in Wilson's last 26 road starts & 3-0 in his last 3 starts overall. OVER is also 3-0 in Phil Hughes's last 3 starts & his ERA is a "Healthy" 11.45 in that span. In the first 3 games of this 4 game series these too teams have combined for an astounding 54 hits which equates too 17 hits per game!!! Would not surprise me if they combined for @ least 20 or more hits this afternoon. It is also worth note that early reports have the wind blowing straight out toward Center Field @ 6-12mph. OVER in this affair WILL CASH$$$!!! :0074
Astros/Athletics-The last time Houston starter Erik Bedard pitched @ Oakland-Alameda County Stadium was back on 4/15/2013 & it was NOT a very impressive outing. He only gave up 2 hits but recorded just ONE(1) out allowing 6 earned runs & 4 walks. Bedard has also lost is last 5 decisions. Athletics starter, Rookie Sonny Gray, has a "Live" arm & although he pitched so-so in his debut against Toronto he has struck out 11 batters in 10 innings of work so far in his Major League career. Despite losing the first 2 games in this 3 game series, Oakland is 11-3 against Houston this season. Astros are just 8-27 in day games on the year. Think the World will get back on it's axis today....I expect the Astros too get back on their game & play like the team that is 39-80 while the Athletics take out their frustration of the last 2 nights on Bedard. Oakland in a ROUT!!! :0074
