I was looking at this total and my initial thought was over but looking it over a little, I think I'm passing. Reitsma, who will never be confused w/Schilling, actually has one pretty positive split: he pitches well in the daytime.

Day: 5-3 3.35 ERA
Night: 2-12 6.05 ERA

For lack of a better term, I guess you could say the difference is like night and day.

Oswalt can be expected to pitch well and notorious homer umpire Barksdale (home teams 35-20) may help Reitsma out.

my picks have been sh*t lately.....but here is what i think.....

Oswalt looked really good against the Cards.....now he faces a minor league lineup....

Reitsma has okay stuff.....i think his stuff is good enough to hold the stros to 3 or 4 runs in 6 innings -- Reds bullpen is really good -- one of the best in baseball, and i don't see the stros getting more than 5 tomorrow.....

i think a score of around 5-2 Astros is very likely.....

dr. freeze.... Why didn't you post in the CONSENSUS PICK for Wednesday.. You are just in a little slump right now, thats all.. Hell we all go through them.. With my personal picks I'm still playing to get out of the hole b/c of a bad start to the season.. I like your write ups and you have great angles on the games.. Like I said it's just a little slump you'll break out and be back on track soon... I hope to see your pick in the thread for Thursday.. G/L Bud...

RECORD 6-1-1 +12%

RECORD 6-1-1 +12%

NOT SURE IF I DESERVE THIS PUSH, and some may have even gotten a win @8.5 , BUT I will take it :)

Just another prime example of why I play overs mainly, the STEER PEN strikes again.

KEY STRATEGY for today a solid number is good IF you are going to press your luck, as we saw today a nine is nice if you ever get to a 4-4 tie, hard to get hurt with an OVER NINE.

Had Plus money on this one made it attractive also.

HOUSTON R OSWALT R 1-0 2.77 1-1 0-1 2-0 2.84 2-1 1-1 19.0 2.84 2-0 12.32
CINCINNATI C REITSMA R 0-0 1.80 0-1 0-1 0-0 5.87 1-1 1-1 7.2 5.87 0-0 19.97

The last 2 figures in each stat line is another key for me 32.29 men on base ave last 3 starts with these two, I heard on the radio that the astros had the bases loaded early in the game also as well as late, just another one of those games where you have to say STUPID MANAGER and trust me I say it a lot these days :D

Best of luck to all and thanks for the kind words just sitting here doing the work lining up all the commands for the play, Valuist I will say it once again THANKS 4 those NCAA hoops totals this year good as gold and better than my MLB totals :toast:
