I wonder why they hate us?
I like choices and my choice is to drive a BIG VEHICLE, What happens when I hit you in your hybrid egg car, I win...I do not mind paying more to fill it up... Profit is not a dirty word like all you liberals think...Its Capitalism
I'm not saying you can't make the choice you're making, and you have the right to pay more to fill it up. It's the attitude that I have an issue with, which doesn't matter to you, and rightfully so. I don't have a hybrid egg car, we have two mid-sized cars that both do fairly well mileage-wise, and mine is a 6 cylinder that has a little kick to it - my choice, I like that.
Profit isn't a dirty word at face value, but it is irritating to me that we are bailing out these American car companies because they used their profits in other ways other than R&D and meeting the demand of future generations, unlike companies like Honda and Toyota. These companies have been run by fossils who staunchly have refused to face reality at best, and have conducted underhanded business practices at worst. They could have competed much more intelligently than they have over the past couple of decades, and they are suffering for that business model now.
I personally think your attitude sucks, but that's my opinion. You can have a sucky attitude if you like, that's your deal, but don't expect everyone to understand it, or care for it. And, despite what you try to make happen, it doesn't make others stupid or wrong because they don't agree with you.
Does anyone really believe we are going to be at that mpg in that short of time?? Yeah right!
I have a bad attitude because our country is being taken over by a radical Muslim
Hedge: Why do you insist on supporting the terrorists by driving up oil consumption? Driving a gas guzzler is very unpatriotic.
tell me what vehicle I should be driving? wife 2 kids 1 dog what should I drive? take frequent trips 225 miles away to see parents, inquiring minds need to know
Lets be honest. I bet your parents are sick of seeing you too.
I wish you were banned for life from here, thats what you deserve, you bring no substance just bullshit and start trouble
tell me what vehicle I should be driving? wife 2 kids 1 dog what should I drive? take frequent trips 225 miles away to see parents, inquiring minds need to know
I am not attacking you, first of all, the hybrid egg car is referencing what Obama wants us all to drive by 2016, I have a bad attitude because our country is being taken over by a radical Muslim telling me what I have to do, like not keeping my thermostat at 72, I keep mine at 70, what light bulbs I must use, all this global warming hoax... this guy is a maniac and has to be stopped, now he is telling me I can't drive a SUV I WANT and NEED, I don't like rules, we need smaller government and they need to stay out of my life...
Only a whackjob could dream of this crap and it?s not really worth responding to.
Yeah Tramp but think how much we'd miss him. The entertainment value he brings to this forum is priceless. Just push him to the edge once in a while, then pull back. Its really fun though. I'm hoping one of these days one of my posts will send him over the edge. Then he can preach his gospel in one of our many prisons. Then it would only be a matter of time before he gets his.
How about a nice sedan? My 4-door Civic Hybrid gets 45 MPG highway and fits four people just fine, but it is probably on the small side. It cost a whopping $22k. I'd imagine a few more thousand could buy you some more leg room if need be.
My wife and I liked this car so much, we bought another one tonight. I'm selling my truck to take advantage of the gas mileage....and to help fight terrorism.
my wife has a Honda Accord, but we never take it for trips, just our gas guzzling SUV, nothing is more important to me than safety and comfort, absolutely nothing, maybe next week after GM takes bankruptcy I will buy another SUV, still waiting for prices to drop
I can understand driving one because you feel like it keeps you safe. You can't put a price on safety, but the price you pay for gas is going to be sickening over the course of the year compared to someone like me. Life's about choices, knock yourself out.
