OVERRATED?

All the talk of Rondo being the best point guard in the league (Sorry I'll still take Nash, Parker and D Will) or the second coming of Bob Cousy (or better) is a tad premature. Let's see him elevate his game in the finals before we really have this conversation. If hte Celts wi this series it'll be because of Pierce being Fierce and Ray being, well Ray --hitting clutch shots with the game on the line...I just have a hunch Rondo doesn't have the series everyone has already written he'll have...I may be i the minority and going out on a limb but I don't want that guy taking a big shot with the game on the line...maybe dishing to Pierce or ray but certainly not shooting one up. I also think the lakers remember the embarrassment of 2008 and will toughen up some...Let's see losing Radmanovic and getting Artest and having Bynum to hopefully give you 20 minutes a game.

You are simply not giving him credit where it is due.
This format is 2-3-2.
When Boston wins game 1 or at the least game 2 the pressure will mount on LA. I am not worried about KOBE as he will get his 25-40. Lets see Bynum/Artest/Odom's game. If those 3 dont play to an elite level Lakers have little CHANCE.

Kobe guarded westbrook at the end of the okc series and made him beat him with jumpers. I think they will do the same and force rondo into a ton of jump shots.

You're right KING. I forgot that we cannot have a reasonable discussion on the series unless it is for your argument.

What Rondo did to miami:mj07: cleveland and orlando is all well and good

but they aint the lakers

Bottom line is garnett is not the same as he was in 08, and that will be one of the top reasons the lakers win, with the other being kobe forcing rondo into many jumpers

Ray ray will get his, but as oliver said pierce will be guarded by artest this go around. And say what you want about him, but he can definently make pierce have to work extremely hard for anything he gets.

while i love nash.....and think he might be the best point guard in the nba; on offense......he's likely the WORST pg in the nba on defense.

at some point, defense has to matter and count for something.......i guess it's the zero nba titles and finals appearnces but not mvp titles where it matters.
