they changed it a few years ago

you cant score on defense in ot, it's a dead ball once a turnover occurs.

So, what is a huge part of the game, doesn't apply in OT? Makes a ton of sense.

Team "A" gets the ball first in OT. They thow an INT that gets run back for a TD, but it was blown dead at the point of the interception?

Now, team "B" gets the ball on offense, and fails to score.

Second set of possesions, team "A" scores, and "B" does not.

Real fair game there!


I still say this is bullshit, as when I re-check the rule, it stated INT and fumbles are played out until the play is dead. :shrug:

Again........what game did this happen in??????

I believe what they are saying is the INT TD doesn't count "If" that team already has the lead in OT.

It used to count. UCLA once won a PAC 10 game by 13 in OT. I thnbk late 90's or early this decade. Will try to look it up now, but I am certain that it occurred. I lost catching double digits.
