Above the Clouds....
Seriously, you driving a "69 Road Runner?

That was the first car I ever bought. I bought it in '71. 383 4 speed and that car kicked some ass. Wish I still had it.

Hell no I don't have a 69 road runner! I just posted that to bust on Josh and see how long it would take for him to respond is all. Every now and then I'll look through the ebay listings at the old Chrysler products because my dad had a 68 Super Bee when I was a kid and I'd like to find one in restorable condition, but the prices are just nuts. His was also a 383 4-speed.
I remember back then a dude at the other end of town had a 70 superbird and I thought that was the coolest thing ever when I was 6 years old. That car is worth 200K today in pristine condition.
That road runner you had is probably worth 40-50K in good shape.
The old man traded the Super Bee in on a Maverick for fucks sake!!!

Good to hear there is mopar love around here.
As a teen, I restored a 71 Charger.
It was an unofficial rite of passage for the males in our family - you turned 16 and you bought a mopar to restore. There's Darts and chargers and fury's still in the family.
