i have been travelling a lot these last few years so it seems like i spend less time of my hobby.
gonna be around all week so if anyone wants to discuss all the Pac-10 games, i am ready.
Power rankings for conference:
1a. USC: resilient and talented, champs
1b. Cal: unstoppable so far, 1st road game
3. Oregon St.: good win vs. vegas, Cincy better?
4. UCLA: big win but lost QB, suspensions
5. Oregon: weak def/o-lines, might lose @home.
6. Arizona St.: proved nothing so far
7. Stanford: any defense? QB Luck talented
8. Arizona: big game vs. Iowa
9. Washington: they get smacked this week, no D.
10. Washington St.: PATHETIC, more injuries.

Chime in, more later from me...

1st play
Arizona +6 -120
Iowa (road game) will definitely test Wildcats but this is too many points for a pac-10 team vs. big 10 team. Both teams have mentioned that they have been looking at film of each other since summer... i like Arizona's defensive speed against a very week Iowa Offense.
i think both will struggle to put up points & Iowa returns 8 on D so add an Under 42 for half a unit.

In the shadows
I would move Stanford up Oregon struggled against Purdue, the Beaves were lucky in Vegas.

So. Cal
while i think arizona should be higher in your pac-10 rankings (actually after sc-cal and above wazzu, everybody else is basically the same right now)...i think az is going to get smoked at iowa this sat

i dont like our qb this year...he's more of a runner out of the spread and hasnt shown the ability to throw the ball, esp down field.
he's a soph, but think he's still 18...and making his first road start.....at iowa
rob gronkowski, the best offensive weapon we have (te) will miss the game and who knows if he'll return this year.

for my money, arizona becomes pretty easy to defend......run-run-run........yes we have speed, but on the road, one dimensional teams fall apart and cant catch up.

on defense, i expect a great performance as this is the strength of the team......but just think they get put in bad situations with turnovers/short fields because of the offense and the game isnt close at the end.

hope i'm wrong, but i see this as a 6-6/7-5 type team and dont see many road wins coming.
