Before I write this I will admit Im a UGA/SEC homer.

With that being said, UGA kicked the shit out of Boise St in Athens. Granted a home game but, BSU pulled their QB because of the beating he was taking.

Oregon's offense has done nothing, nor their defense. They should be down 13-0.

7 yds of offense? That is pathetic.

Anyway point being, the PAC-10 SUX. They have one good team. USC. After that, NOTHING.

A further point, Oregon worked Ok St last yr in the bowl game.

Final point, UGA whips Ok St on its home field.

BTW, how bout the Aggies showin up tonight!!

you forgot to mention the 5-0 bowl and ats record for the pac-10 last year

oh

and since we're already making conference evaluations.....i guess the acc completely sucks as a ncst, home favorite, can only score 3 points

spot on! why would we not base our evaluations on a conference and a team on their 1st half of their 1st game? i mean clearly these guys should be ready after all the preseason games....oh wait

Seriously?

Tell you what, BYU lost to Ariz; they play Okla which owns the Big 12. That being said Fla (which I hate) beat Okla. So look at that come Sunday and see what the Ariz win means compared to the Big 12.

Next Cal beat The U. When is the last time Miami has been relevant? 02(?) when they beat Ohio St? PLEASE!

Oregon St beat Pitt, 3-0; which begs the question is the Big East even relevant? In the FUCKIN Sun Bowl, did I miss that New Years Day?

USC beat Penn St, from the Big Ten; where there is one good team year in and year out. Which by the way got worked by another SEC team may I dare to mention.

Ill give the PAC 10 the Oregon win and the USC win, although the Penn St win is IFFY.

Last question, are you defending a conference that is home to WSU, Washington and Stanford?

Seriously? LSU 45 Washington 3.

You really dont think the SEC is a better conference top to bottom?

Last thought.

SEC 6-2 in bowl games. Granted some teams shouldnt have been.

None the less and one of those wins was a NATIONAL TITLE!!

Good luck this year to your USC Trojans

I for one am not arguing the Pac 10 is a better conference than the SEC, in fact, I think the SEC is the superior conference.

What I do not agree with is "the pac10 SUX" as you put it, basing the conference quality, and the quality of Oregon, on their 1st half in the 1st game of their season.

UGA has a tough road game Saturday. Can only see what they do.

I guess more than anything I severely misjudged the Ducks. They had a great running game, so common sense says they win the line battle. They havent.

More Over, below tells the story of sour grapes!

Can only laugh. Need I mention what I have on the ML.

Good Luck this yr. Pisser to pick two dogs on the ML, and be so wrong on this one. Thought they were the better team

And to you gin23, the ACC does suck. What is the best ream in the conference? Clemson? Oh wait they got thrashed by Ala last yr.

Is it Miami? FSU? Duke? UVA? NCState? BC? Maryland? BTW, they get an ass whippin courtesy of the PAC-10 this weekend.

3 best teams in the ACC, Ga Tech, Va Tech and Wake (hands down the best coach in the nation, hands down)

For what its worth, Im having to DVR the UGA-Ok St game so I can watch that ACC powerhouse Duke play Richmond.

LOL! The tix are free.

Good Luck guys, didnt mean to offend.

you're an idiot if you're judging an entire conferece based on one half of the first game at a location where road teams have won 2 times in the last 10+ years......and you're an even bigger idiot if you're judging that conference as such becasue you're losing a bet.

who said the pac-10 was better than the sec?

based on your analysis of the acc, should i assume that the sec sucks since they could only manage 7 measley points vs a lowly acc team???

Does a road edge make up for the total lack of play on Oregon's side of the ball. Regardless of what I bet, Oregon should have/get/recruit/ better athletes than a school who hasnt been a 1A school but for what maybe 10 yrs?

Do you really think that UGA, Ole Miss, Ala wouldnt go to Idaho and win? I mention these schools because they are 2nd tier teams in the SEC. Same as Oregon, right?

Glad you admitted you're a homer to start the thread...

SEC>Pac10 and Pac10 sucks are different arguments.

Both of these teams deserve to lose this game. absolutely pathetic football to start the season.

Deal, LOL!

UGA is 30-4 on the road under Richt

Richt is 34-3 against non conference opponents.

On the upside looks like Oregon has a reason for SUCKING and being unable to run the ball.

That was great.

Run your mouth, cant back it up (-5 yds rushing), get worked, then cant take it when the trash talking is returned.

LMAO!!

Here we go with the SEC crap again... I don't think anybody said the PAC 10 was as tough as the SEC. We'll see how "tough" the SEC is when those teams finally had some balls to go on the road and face a BCS eligible team away from the South.

I think Ill go out on a limb and say UGA stinks.

BTW, LSU didnt have that easy of a time with Washington either.

Looks like the SEC is a two team conf this yr, Bama, Fla and everybody else.
