ORE -8.5
ASU -28.5
UTH -7
AFA -2.5
USC-35
UCLA -7.5

THURSDAY NIGHT:
OREGON -8.5 at Houston ESPN 4PM PST

I'll start by saying I think UO is the most overrated team in the pac-10. I know they have a lot returning.. but they are implementing a new system... luckily for them they get a bad Houston team... I think the Ducks cover this one no problem

ASU -28.5 home to Temple FSN-AZ 7PM PST
ASU had no problem with their non conf slate last year and should cover this by halftime... Today Temple just announced 7 players will be inelgible... that's tough enough, but get this, temperatura at thursday night;s 7pm kickoff will be over 100 degrees still.... the cramping will get temple badly... ASU will be without corner RJ Oliver and TightEnd Zach Miller is doubtful
ASU will cover easily

FRI UTAH -7 home to Arizona 5pm ESPN

Utah QB Brian Johnson has looked great in Spring and will try and fill in Smith's shoes.... should be a great one, Utah because of the home field covers

SAT

Air Force +2.5 home to UW 12:30 ABC

No wayy should UW be favored.. sure Gilby is gone and Willingham is now the coach, but he isn't playing with too much talent... Air Force is going to run it all day long... take the home dog

UCLA -7.5 at SDSU 7:15 ESPN2

I first saw this line and though Aztecs, I remember how well they played against Michigan.. and how poorly UCLA played against Wyoming in Vegas.... But the more I think about this one the more I think UCLA covers.. Just looking at their prior meetings, the Bruins have had no problems at all with sdsu... that should continue because UCLA is a good team

USC -35 7:00 FSN at Hawaii

Unless the whole Trojan team decides to hit pipeline then they cover... I can't imagine Hawaii stopping USC once all game... Hawaii may score.. but they don't hold SC under 50 points

Hey Pac 10 guru, do you always play all the Pac 10 games?

I can't wait for that ASU/LSU matchup. I hope ASU players can focus early this season with the off field distractions with Wade.

I read that Koetter said this is his most talented team since being at ASU. As a USC fan, the 2 games I am very worried about are @Oregon and @ASU back to back early in season. :scared

Not sure how you can back up Oregon laying over a TD @Houston. Oregon has big problems with their OL and their secondary is experienced but was horrible last year. Plus installing a new offensive system. I just think you are asking too much from the ducks. Obviously I am on Utah +10.

Glad to see you on UCLA as I am on them as well. But I am very upset with the injuries they suffered especially DT Kevin Brown. I also read the WR's are not looking good. All this $hit happened after I placed my bet. But I got -7. Still having some doubts about this play but you being on them helps!

Good luck this season and I enjoyed reading your write-ups.

No, they probably won't hold them under 65, but hawaii will put up points too. I think Hawaii covers in this one, but I'll take USC for the first half for sure. I'll probably take USC for the 1st half in most of their games, once I see the lines.

I usually do play all the pac-10 games on the card, minus arizona state... i don't like betting on them but this week i am, however i always give my take on all the games.

This is ASU best team since 1996 depth wise, however the injuries are piling up already and they have a new defensive scheme that will be great, but maybe not yet...
ASU-LSU will be a great game, im heading down there for my first ever sec game, assuming it's on as scheduled.

I expect Marcades Lewis and Junior Taylor to be huge weapons for Drew Olson this year, I think they are a sleeper team in the pac-10

Like i said, I think Oregon is overrated, it's more of a play against Houston than on Oregon.. I have a feeling I will bet against Oregon 8 of their 11 games just looking at their schedule right now and my best guess about the line.

BG, back for another year huh?

Do and don't agree with your UO being over rated. They seem to be flying somewhat under the radar, though big time media like ESPN seems to be hyping them up. They will be direct competition for ASU this year for a Holiday Bowl birth, HA!

Damn, if espn's hyping them, i should probably change my bet to houston this week.

So Cal
I love UCLA-7.5. In the history of this rival SDST has never won SU...They are something like 0-17-1 SU against UCLA.
I really think UCLA will have big year . M.Drew is a incredible HB
I really expect a HUGE YR for him.

I enjoy your write -ups
Best of luck this season .

Luck to you bg.

Hope ASU gets it done tonight.

The Washington v. AFA game is an interesting one. I like the Falcons but prob. won't play them.

I think the Huskies D can be pretty good, and like Stanback's potentiall at QB but not sure if DuRocher or Bonnell might not be better fits.

I thought Falcon's QB Carney was their future before the start of last year. He will rewrite the record books at the Academy.
