I would have to believe at this point he is wiping crow off his face right now and cannot realistically even post a response trying to put the PAC 10 in the same light as the SEC, BIG 12, ACC or Big 10!

Lets take a look at some facts.

CAL is missing their top 2 WR's and people expect them to be good? Remember, CAL is missing their top 2 WR's and I don't think the freshman starting were 5-star recruits out of high school. Oh yeah, CAL wanted and deserved to be in the Rose Bowl, not the Holiday Bowl. So you have injured team who does not really want to be there. Go ahead and judge them. All I know is when USC played CAL, CAL was 100% healthy. A completely different team.

UCLA coming into their bowl game against Wyoming was injured. Starting WR and starting LB hurt, and 2 players sent home for showing up drunk to meeting. Oh yeah, UCLA lost their starting QB for more than 2 quarters against Whyoming. They also are a team who did not want to play in the Las Vegas Bowl.

Arizona St. is playing Purdue without their starting QB. I don't think motivation will affect them BUT not having your starting QB will.

Sorry people, these are facts, not just opinions. Go ahead and bash the Pac 10 and look stupid.

My question is this. What if USC beats OU? Will all those people who said AU should be there not USC admit they were wrong? Will all those who said Pac 10 sucks I am taking OU big admit they were wrong on their reasonings? These are the same things said about USC prior to playing their last 2 BCS bowl games. Gues what? USC ble out both BCS opponents. But all those bashing USC prior to their last 2 BCS bowl games, never learned and never stood up and admitted they were wrong.

These threads are very comical and show a lack of intelligence. :142lmao:

Where were the anti Big 12 posts after CO struggled to beat Utep? Or Oklahoma St. getting blown out by OSU with their starting QB being suspended and all the off the field distractions? Neither of those teams had excuses like UCLA, ASU, and CAL have for their poor performance. The excuses are facts! Not making them up!

Always an excuse for failure and I mean always! I dont care if Cal had twenty guys hurt they were crying about Texas passing them and as we can see it was the right move. there is NO TEAM and I mean N TEAM participating in a bwl game at this time of the yer that does not have injuries so thats hogwash and a very weak excuse. The crying about Cal's injuries to their wides is comical, did you see thier defense? The defense was a joke looked like a MAC teams defense. What about Colorado last time I saw they won their game against a better team than UCLA lost to. Scott, bottom line the PAC 10's showings in these bowls has more then fueled the fire that it is a subpar league and al lyour weak excuses will not help

Scott, you never cease to amaze me!

facts = excuses

You are the only one who looks stupid! Are you serious? Why did vegas have Cal at a 10 point clip if they knew these 2 GREAT receivers were out? Oh, I forgot, they should've asked them if they really wanted to be there. How do you think it looks for their argument that they deserved to be in the Rose Bowl by losing by 2 touchdowns to a team that Texas handled by 30 points?

How do teams like Ohio St., Boston College, and Wyoming manage to win their bowl games with key players out with suspensions and injuries?

Scott makes it seem like California is a storied program that has a RoseBowl or bust mentality.

The only history in the California program is all about a band that came out on a field.

They had 20+ seniors in addition to their quarterback playing in their last game. They had a great season in their league and had all the motivation in the world to play hard and win.

Any other BS you feed us is ridiculous.

I will be the first to stand up and admit my poor judgement if and when USC beats OU.

I will also give each of you the opportunity to sell tickets to the spectacular sight of watching pigs flying from my ass the day after.

How's that for comical?

WOW! What a disappointment. I was looking for an original excuse from Scott, but no, the same ol BS!!! What an idiot!

Like KDogg said, 597 yards that Cal gave up. Who cares if they had no injuries. Thier defense couldn't stop Baylor!!!! How many points did the all mighty Lienert score against this team. I bet the USC boys watched that game and went "ohhhh shiiitte, we are in trouble now"

What a let down Scott. This is one that you CAN'T make an excuse for!

One of the commentators made the comment last night that if it weren't for the BCS, CAL would not have even been considered for the Rose Bowl because they didn't win the PAC-10.

So how can they possibly complain about the system that put them in the Holiday bowl.

What excuse are you going to have Scott when USC loses?? Are their any injuries that we should know about ahead of time?? Do they think that they should have had a better bowl and are not motivated?? Any coaching changes that have them down??? I heard Pete Carroll had gonorrhea from getting hit in the butt from his boyfriend.....

Like MadJack, I too have tired of all this PAC-10 / anti-USC bashing. But after tonight's game, I submit to you that you are all accountable for the statements you'd made. Do what is right and you will reveal yourselves to be honorable men. We will all check back soon.

Here I am to fulfill my promise.

USC clearly outclassed OU in every part of last night's game. Congratulations to the Trojans on their fine season an a well deserved National Championship.
