I still maintain that calling it down on the field originally was the right call, but after the challenge, I can't explain how that isn't a fumble.

I just think the ref absolutely needed to say more there... something. Was it inconclusive? No WR move? Simultaneous? To just say "call stands"... like I said, I have to agree it's a pretty bad call.

Totally fair point. In my honest opinion though, during the actual play it didn't look like a fumble at all to me. In the past I think they call that off every time, but now I think they let the play go because they KNOW a challenge can reverse it one way and not the other. I really do think that was the referee mindset there.

who cares........in the end it was clear as day it was a fumble......and they STILL got it wrong.
