PADRES/ORIOLES Under 9 +105 ? This may look like a stretch considering tonight?s 2 young starters, but they have both been pitching admirably, so the + odds makes this investment worthwhile. It also does not hurt that both of these normally low-scoring teams may have exhausted a week?s worth of runs in last night?s 8-6 O?s victory. Driskill is a perfect 3-0 since being thrust into the Baltimore rotation, with a very good 3.77 ERA and an equally sparkling WHIP of 1.26. Opposing batters are only hitting .237 vs. Driskill at home this season, and the Padres are still without the services of their main run producer, Phil Nevin. Pickford has had some control problems, but he does have some nasty stuff, a evidenced by the fact that he has only allowed 9 hits in 11 innings. If he could cut down on his walks (10 in 11 innings), this young southpaw could take advantage of a Baltimore team that is hitting just .226 vs. left-handed pitchers over the last 10 games.
