Tony, I'm sure you didn't mean it this way, but you have to remember that Ray had his money on the play as well. When you try to help others and lose your own money at the same time then even the slightest negative remark can be construed as a statement to make the person doing the helping feel guilty and should be avoided lest the helper decide not to help anymore.
It would have been better to not even referenced the butt kicking and simply said something like "Let's get them today, Raymond." Raymond knows the Diamondbacks lost last night without anyone reminding him of it.
As for my "Tony" post, that was done tongue in cheek. Have you seen the commercial? It was meant to be funny . . even to you. Sorry if it didn't come out that way.
