If I had a vote tomorrow I would give the title to TCU. They would beat either of these teams.

True that and also Stanford would have crushed this Auburn team. Was not impressed.

Do you people get CBS or ESPN on your televisions. Auburn played terrible and beat a weak Oregon team. There are at least 3 SEC teams (Auburn, Alabama, LSU) and maybe more that could/would have beat Oregon tonight. If Cam had shown up, they would have beaten Oregon by 20+ minimum. TCU would have been exposed just like Oregon. If TCU were in the SEC, they would have gone 7-5 this year and had a nice trip to the music city bowl in Nashville. Stanford is a good team and because of the way they play (pro style), their coach and QB, I think they would have done fairly well in the SEC this year. Probably finishing 10-3 this year. That David Blane slight of hand, misdirection, gimmick ass offense that Oregon, TCU, and others play is a joke. Just a mask, a way to try and level the field and compete against bigger and better teams. They know they dont have the size and strength to line up and run a real offense. They would get blown off the line and manhandled, especially by at least half the SEC teams.

You make it seem like Auburn crushed Oregon. The game i watched tonight Auburn squeaked by Oregon on a last second field goal. You cant justify it by saying that Auburn played terrible and still won. They had a month to prepare for this game im sure they brought their best to the table. quit making excuses for them.

Makes you wonder why the Big 10 and Pac 10 commishes are so against a playoff.

BCS Title Records
SEC 7-0
Big 12 2-5:142smilie
ACC 1-2
Big East 1-2 (This was when Miami and Va Tech were in, so if the ACC wants to claim them, they can improve their record to 2-4):142smilie
Big 10 1-2:142smilie
Pac 10 1-2:142smilie

I think most SEC fans still want to see a playoff.

The only thing I'll say is I wish TCU wouldn't have agreed to wear new Nike shoes in the most important game ever. Put the team in the same shoes they wore all year and maybe they don't slip all over the field. Then maybe their performance would have been more impressive.

Put TCU in any other conference and they get better players and better depth. Put Auburn in the Sun Belt and they don't get the same players either. You wouldn't have Cam Newton winning the Heisman. You'd have Dasher throwing INTs just like he does now for MTSU. That's why I hate that argument about putting this team in that conference. It's stupid.

A playoff or a plus-one model is the only way any of this gets settled. I would love to see what TCU would do against Stanford or Auburn. Win or lose, it would be a chance to prove it on the field. I'm happy TCU ended up winning the Rose Bowl and finished #2 in the polls. This will do wonders for the program and recruiting. Obviously, Auburn won the NCG and they deserve to be #1 in all the polls.

The NCAA will take it all away in a couple of years anyway. :mj07: Just kidding.
