Pretty much what's going on now. Big oil, more war, no women rights, tax cuts for the rich. She's Bush with a virgina. Biden's going to rip her.

Shes a complete bitch? I thought it was a great speech..even MSNBC agreed which is news worthy.

Im pretty sure thats not all of what she said.. Its better than talking for 3 months about change..and not more of the same.

I thought she was great for the Republicans. A great speaker. She said they are going to cut every ones taxes but did not say how. No substance to the speech but she did it so well. She will be tough to beat. Don't forget this about Biden, America doesn't like him. They had a chance to vote for him and he came in last. Now he has to face Palin, who can certainly give a god speech. Even saying nothing she sounded good. I think Ol' John made a smart pick.

Did she actually say anything with substance? I guess I missed all the parts about what they were going to do.

It pretty much followed along the lines of Obamas speech, so for you to criticize it after hearing dozens of Baracks speeches is interesting. Im gonna give healthcare to everyone (then not explain how), Im gonna only tax businesses.. :mj07: Then we don't need more of the same, so vote for me, because I will bring change.

I found it interesting that not one person from the DNC went up there and talked about Obamas character or his achievements..

And since our opponents in this presidential election seem to look down on that experience, let me explain to them what the job involves. I guess, I guess a small-town mayor is sort of like a community organizer, except that you have actual responsibilities.?
:0corn
They love their country, in good times and bad, and they're always proud of America:0corn Great shot at Mrs Obama
But listening to him speak, it's easy to forget that this is a man who has authored two memoirs but not a single major law or reform ? not even in the state senate.

This is a man who can give an entire speech about the wars America is fighting, and never use the word "victory" except when he's talking about his own campaign. But when the cloud of rhetoric has passed ... when the roar of the crowd fades away ... when the stadium lights go out, and those Styrofoam Greek columns are hauled back to some studio lot ? what exactly is our opponent's plan? What does he actually seek to accomplish, after he's done turning back the waters and healing the planet? The answer is to make government bigger ... take more of your money ... give you more orders from Washington ... and to reduce the strength of America in a dangerous world. America needs more energy ... our opponent is against producing it.

Victory in Iraq is finally in sight ... he wants to forfeit.

Terrorist states are seeking new-clear weapons without delay ... he wants to meet them without preconditions. Al Qaeda terrorists still plot to inflict catastrophic harm on America ... he's worried that someone won't read them their rights? Government is too big ... he wants to grow it.

Congress spends too much ... he promises more.

Taxes are too high ... he wants to raise them. His tax increases are the fine print in his economic plan, and let me be specific.

The Democratic nominee for president supports plans to raise income taxes ... raise payroll taxes ... raise investment income taxes ... raise the death tax ... raise business taxes ... and increase the tax burden on the American people by hundreds of billions of dollars. My sister Heather and her husband have just built a service station that's now opened for business ? like millions of others who run small businesses.

Let me make myself clear. I don't like either candidate and will vote for any third party candidate.
Now whats the over/under on how many days ,"if elected ,"that it will take old JOHN to call her a cunt.
Surely you don't think that she wrote much of that speech. One reason and one reason only that she is on the ticket. She is the only woman that they could get on such a short notice. JEW Lieberman was unelectable ,Lieberman was a loser once before and he couldn't help in key states. John wanted his good friend on the ticket but the real power said no.The money people told John to get a woman and by doing so we will level the playing field.Easy to see it =old president vs young black president=young woman vp vs old vp.It's all about talking points. No substance,no direction,no solutions, this is the theme of both parties. There good at calling each other names and making fun of each other. No matter who wins ,you and I are the losers.

Damn Trench,

Wished we could've ended the convention right there after her speech before McCain came out. Was thinking the exact same thing.
