Where it is real F ing COLD
Well it didn't take long for the Vikings to get themselves into a "must win" game.. Talk about another disappointing start to the season. The Vikings have told Jackson to ride the pine so in Gus they trust. What a great QB to look forward to but anything will be an improvement. .

This game is almost impossible to cap because of too many unknowns but I think if you had to bet it you would have to take the Panthers. They just seem to be the more solid team. Delhomme is looking sharp, the running game is effective, and the defense can shut the Vikes down, oh yeah they get that guy back named Smith this weekend.. On the other hand you have a desperate Viking team who is a little bit banged up. Peterson was held out of practice on Thursday with a hamstring injury and I think he will be limited even if he does play.. Frerotte needs to have time to throw and I don't think he will get it.. Plus who is he going to throw the ball to? On the other hand the move to Frerotte may ignite the team and you know the defense could win this game by them selves. The total is 37 and I can't get a good handle on that either.. Would side with the under but am not betting it....

PICK

Carolina 17 Vikes 16. A good game to stay away from...

I agree totally here. As a Panthers fan, this game scares me. No telling how either team will react to their individual situations. Betting the line or the total on this game is like flipping coins
