Just got back from seeing it. It had a few real scary moments but not to the level of the hype. Overall it was good, although I wanted to punch the boyfriend in the face a few times.
Of course, I'll have to see how well I sleep tonight before I know for sure how scary it was for me!

I would say that this is a movie to experience in the theaters - on DVD it would play even worse.
3 is a generous score.
There are scary moments - but they aren't anything I haven't seen before.
The last frame of the movie sucks nuggets.
