Got suckered in for Monday?
I didn't take the bait for Sat., Sun, Monday(thinking they may cancel) but DID got fooled for Tue$'s card; yeah, wasted about 2 freakin HOURS doing the detailed capping for Tues. Son-Ah-Mah-BEECHES ! And worse yet,
3 of those days had racing cards that looked profitable. That especially goes for today, "Lucky Tue$day".
GET THIS.... I wasn't sure about Monday so I started the long handicapping process. Turned out that the first race was a "Playable" wace. I really didn't feel like analyzing anything so, after I got the first race done then I went to "Accuweather for Phlly" (it's the best site I found awhile back for getting the current and HOURLY forcasts). I saw all the rain they had during the past 2 days and even though it showed that it should be MOSTLY clear and COLD on Monday... I just figured I'd stop after the first race. Parx jumps on "opportunities" to cancel a racing card, ya know. It was too early to put in my plicks for that first race, so I closed the "Handicapping Shop".
SURE ENOUGH...... they ran ONLY the first race and they ran 7-5 -"something' and SURE ENOUGH my ratings for that race was
7 -5 - and two horses tied for 3rd . Wiener paid $12.40 and zack was $27 and change. FLOCK!
Here's something else I'm wondering about -
AC was the latest victim of hoss wacin's downfall. Now, notice what twacks show a propensity of cancelling AND the reason given isn't WEATHER many times - it's
TRACK CONDITIONS . Also, note the attendance for these two twacks.
Thems are Laurel and good ole "Philly Park"
you know what that means, right? Speakers on?
