Excellent call on that 7 horse AND a $65 zacta, Hammy. That's the way to start off the day .
Second race was my only playable race so far for today... I SURE HOPE THE BREEDERS CUP FLU AIN'T CONTAGIOUS even though I didn't touch or even watch that circus show at all on Sat. Write that "contagious" bit cause I'm on streak of FOUR losing races in a row at this point; 3 plays yesterday and now, so far, one play today (2nd race).
I'm just a WATCHER until the 7th today. Got contenders marked as 2,6,7,8. Won't post or play a thing until SEEING those 4 in the prerace. The fact that 3 of them MAY be very nice odds makes me even more interested in the 7th.
That's one thing bad about this track - VERY unreliable morning line. The oddsmaker is a joke and that ain't good cause, for somebody who studies ONE particular track - the M.L. comes into play in their analysis. Knowing if an oddsmaker is CONSISTANTLY way off on the high side or low side or... or even right on the money is valuable information. None of that applies to this wace twack. Ever see so many 8 to 1's Morning Liners in your life as a RTJ (Race Twack Jack)? I finally figured out that 8 to 1 M.L. at this track means," I don't have a clue how this horse is gonna get bet".
BTW, the Morning Line is supposed to be an
estimation of what the oddsmaker believes what the horse will go off at, NOT his estimation of who will win the race.
ONLY IF one or more of them look playable in the 7th, I'll open a thread and post some. The 8th and 9th look playable at this point as well.
Hope you or any of the usual Hoss Race Parlor members did hit something at the circus on Sat. I didn't even look at the prices but I'm pretty sure there musta been something BIG with those races.
BTW, moidering the books with them COLLEGE footsballers.

All I gotta do is bet some big bucks on my Spreadsheet's picks and that will be the end of that party
