Thank you, airportis. Great to see another poster, ESP. a Philly poster. AND from good ole N.J. too :)

I checked out a lot of horse racing "establishments" when I was in N.J. for many years. Grew up there as well. My sis lived in Philly and that gave me two reasons to visit Pa.

I gotta check them out for today yet.

Good Luck today

Sheesh, I was looking and looking for that horse and then I saw that it's for TUESDAY. :00x8

Don't think I'll post races for today, but since i'm here, might as well mention a couple of LONGshots that I came up with for today. Maybe you'll stop in? Today's card is something else, FULL fields, competitive horses, prob. big balloons. $$$$

I'm coming up with:

no. 2, Conga Bella in the 1st race, 10-1 M.L.

no. 6, Heavy Duty at 20-1 M.L. Yeah, I know it looks like i'm a whacko with the outrageous picks but I really don't go looking for them. IF they come to me, I'm game. Other one in this race, no. 8, Impress the Chief is the other one I like just about everything about (a more reasonable 8-1).

7th race: the favorite, no. 5, Turn to Travis is a VERY unreliable runner. IF he brings his A-game I think he wins this race. IF not, gimme no. 3, Gentle Edwin @ 10-1. I think exact factas in this race could be nos. 8 and 9.

G.L.

you know i hadda good day, Hammy since I was a little disappointed after hitting that $121 daily double. I wheeled Bella in the doubles, figuring that the 2nd race should produce a price. MAN, did you see that second race? I coulda swore they were going to take down that 10-1 wiener and put up the 26 to 1 second place finisher. DAMN, they didn't, despite that one bumping another horse in the stretch. That double woulda REALLY made some start to the day. It was a very good day anyways.

I've been on a hot streak so far this Philly style week; you gonna be around tomorrow?

I'll take Hammy's place. Couldn't hold his cappin' pencil in a suitcase, but I'll be around, no less.

Next step for me is the half glasses I imagine you wear with wide brown frames and tiny glasses.

Some day Jimmy, Some day.

Sorry to disappoint ya HM, but no, I don't wear glases. Not even reading glasses. I look, and just might be younger than the dude in your avatar believe it or not.

Gotta admit, fortunate enough to take an EARLY semi-retirement and getting down here in the warmth and sun much earlier than most do really helps.

Good luck with the house and whatever bets you're making, HM.
