ya gotta hope this crap ain't true..

if this Org. has stooped to this kind of under-handed bullshit ya might as well dissolve the franchise..

"Several of them acknowledge that during pregame warm-ups, a low-level Patriots employee would sneak into the visiting locker room and steal the play sheet, listing the first 20 or so scripted calls for the opposing team's offense."

Doubt this is true, but if it is shame on them for leaving it lying around...

Oh geez another low-level employee, give me a break. I'm sure the opposition routinely leaves their play sheet laying around with the first 20 plays scripted  what a bunch of malarkey. Did this also come from another disgruntled ex-coach ie Mangini?

If anything should be dissolved it's ESPN, run by idiots, employed by idiots and made for idiots.

Jimmy Johnson openly admits on air that when he was with the Cowboys he would have a guy go to the opposing teams side and root through trash for playbooks or whatever they could find, where was the ESPN story then? I guess they didn't think it would sell or more likely it didn't fit their agenda. :bsflag

This is pretty funny stuff...

If I am catching a baseball game and the other team is stealing my signs, it's on me. Ditto with dummies that would leave their playbook on a table instead of a locked desk or whatever.

Seriously, tho...this is a betting forum. Does anyone think that all this finger pointing will help the Patriots on Thursday to circle the wagons and take the US AGAINST THE WORLD mentality?

while I acknowledge that parts/all/none of this could be true/false or both, I am surprised that multiple people have the attitude of "shame on the other team".......I mean it isn't like they left their play sheets sitting on a bench at the park- they had a employee sneak into the other locker room- which is for only the opposing team players and coaches.....that's bogus if its true........I am certain that if someone broke into your home and stole your money you wouldn't blame yourself for leaving it lying around

now, that may be a poor analogy, but my point is that if you have your belongings in a area that is only for you, why would you be responsible for someone breaking/sneaking in and stealing it. You certainly would be pissed and wouldn't blame yourself. if it was something that was "acceptable", im sure the patriot employees would not have to sneak around to do so.....

regardless of any of it, the Pats have been caught multiple times trying to gain an advantage by using methods that are not considered legal. I mean you would have to think ESPN would have checked with multiple sources and outlets before posting something like this after the first round of allegations. I don't think this was fabricated from inside their walls.....

either way I still think Brady and the hoodie are two of the best ever to do what they do.....I wish they wouldn't have been involved in any of this because as a fan of the game, I would love to have seen them reach these heights without any accusations because they both deserve to be considered top of their particular positions in the League.
