OK here we go Boys.

Very interesting games yesterday. It is going to be very difficult for the Houston team to come into New England and walk out with a win.

Rob Gronkowski returns from injury with his 11 TDs and fourth in the NFL. Brady loves to throw TDs to this guy.

Brady , who can pass Joe Montana by winning a record 17th postseason game Sunday, insists the Patriots won't be overconfident.

"I think you learn from it," said Brady, who guides a team averaging 34.8 points. "You also understand things aren't going to be the same. They're going to see things that they're working on that are going to be different for us this time around. We do the same thing."

Houston's vaunted pass rush produced 44 sacks for the league's fifth-highest total but dropped Brady just once. Defensive Player of the Year candidate J.J. Watt led the NFL with 20 1/2 sacks, but he had no sacks of Brady and just two tackles in the first matchup.:scared

Foster has gained motivation for this matchup by a Boston newspaper column calling the Texans "fraudulent."

Schaub threw for 232 yards, no touchdowns and one INT in the first meeting, while Andre Johnson had eight catches for 95 yards. Johnson amassed 201 receiving yards last year in the postseason with T.J. Yates at quarterback, but he was held to 62 last week against the Bengals.

The Texans are also wary since the Patriots led the NFL in turnover differential at plus-25.

"They get them," Kubiak said. "They don't give it up. If we go in there and do anything to help them, we're in trouble."

Trying to slow down Brady, who threw for 34 TDs and led the AFC with 4,827 passing yards, figures to be a difficult task. The Texans will have a healthy Brooks Reed after the linebacker missed the first meeting with a groin injury.

Brady is 10-2 as a starter in the playoffs at home.
The Patriots are looking to become the first team to win a championship after losing in the Super Bowl the previous season since the 1972 Dolphins went 17-0 including the postseason.

"It's as exciting as there is," Brady said. "This is why we work hard. This is why we put the time in: so we can be at our best."

This is why I gamble , this is why I win.

Just can't bring myself to wager on the Falcons game today at 1 PM. The Falcons are too fickle and you never know what you get when the shit counts.

Baltimore played a miracle game yesterday. I know Jack is pumped about it and I give congrats. But dont get too excited.

Flacco showed some serious problems to me when the game was on the line and it was third and five at the end of regulation. He threw behind Jacoby and there was no way for him to make a play. He makes that play in practise over and over, but the game on the line and he muffs.

I have to comment on Peyton Mannings game. I know it was a long game and he must have been tired. But that throw for the interception looked like his arm strength was just shot. He took them to the edge , but to me he is done being a big time player in the future who can pull out a game like this.

I got to admit though, that I never thought Manning would return after the neck surgerys. He has played lights out considering that aspect.

But it has to tell you something at the end of regulation with less than a minute, Manning was told to take a knee. He has never done that in his life in a game. His normal would have been get across the fifty yd line so a winning field goal could happen. Manning aint the same and how could he be.

Denvers defense just handed the game off to the Ravens. What a woeful bunch of pussychops they are. Champ Bailey is done. Damn he cant cover his mother.

The Ravens stepped up and delivered and they should move on to face New England next week.
Seems like they won in a playoff game in New England a few years ago. hmmmm

San Fran played very well and Kopenchidk the wildman looks for real. Very tall guy who can run like a fucking deer. I think his tats slow him down some though.

They will play the winner of Seattle / Falcons winner.

The road to the Superbowl gets shorter.

Should be a good time.

Good luck with your play. Would be interested to hear your opinion on Atlanta's offense today. I have a feeling they do well. I know you keep up with the team. Thanks in advance.

there is no problem with Atlantas offense much to speak of. The Burner Turner cannot be counted on and lets face it the Falcons dont have a running game.

They rely on throwing the ball downfield which they are good at.

The Falcons defense is what concerns me in this game. Even though Nolan has done a stand up job with players not expected to contribute, I think it has to catch up to them at some point.

Falcons have alot of trouble coming off the ends to sack any QB much less runners. Abraham is just too old now. Other misfits dont bring it right.

If Lynch is able to break into the backfield over and over and the Seattle QB is able to scramble around and get first downs alot, this game is big trouble for the Falcons.

Falcons play very well at home.

They do seem to step up for night games more than day games.

Alot of pressure on the Falcons to win this game.

Matty Ice , Smith, and TD might get run out of town on a loss of this game.

Game was pretty much as expected. I hated it when Gronkowski went down on the first throw to him. How demoralizing that must be for a athlete like him. And not even tackled. He fell on his left arm out of bounds. I wonder does that mean they were pushing him to come back early when it wasnt healed completely ?

New England really needed him but now he is done.

Houston with Schaub has never really brought what was needed during the season. They showed signs of this defeat in losing to the Colts and several bad games at home. ( Minn )

Well just four teams left and what do you say about the Falcons sneaking in. I find it laughable that they had to come from behind after leading by 20 points .
This is the Falcons standard this year. It first looked like Turner and Rodgers were going to burn up the running game. Turner ended up with 64 yds and Rodgers with that one long run for 59. It is going to take more than that against the Niners.

Maybe the Ravens are catching the New England team at just the right time. Flacco has never impressed me and I would not like to depend on him to win this game for me. Ray Rice is the best player on the Ravens offense and could mean the differance.

Wont be long before we know.

KOD,

The only time I was worried was when the Texans ran it back the first play. When they were held to a FG, knew it would be over.

Did Kubiak watch any film? It's like they weren't expected a no huddle. They were also caught off guard on the quick hit in the end zone that bit them last time they played as well. Poor, poor coaching.

I had that same feeling when Houston got only a field goal out of it.

Alot of these games come down to coaching and clock management. I was pretty pissed when even NE was running down the clock with 4 minutes to go and they had a running back run out of bounds.

If I am the QB or the coach of the runners and wide receivers, I get in their face and scream no running out of fucking bounds ! How simple is that to win the game, not to mention keep a back door cover from happening.

There were times in this game when one score would have taken out the -9 1/2 and I was in a push situation with the -6

Come on NFL players. Get with the program.

Speaking of Coaching. The Falcons Smith has been known to make critical mistakes in play calling and time management in crucial games.

Not sure if this will rear its ugly head in the upcomeing Niners game but it could.

The Falcons now have the pressure off them after winning that first playoff game.

They have been known to relax some in these situations. I still do not trust the Falcons to pull this out. Still looking at this game.
