Same when the Ravens won the Super Bowl it wasn't the QB that got them there.

Now your moving in the right direction.The NE d played very differently away from home this year,and thats where this game is being played,away from home.Look at the contrast in points allowed home vs away for the "Pats".Those numbers matching up vs Carolina offense of past 4 weeks indicate that NE will not cover and will be hard pressed to win.
Eagles game was depressing with the loss, but i was not at all impressed with the Carolina offense. EVen their D was not that great. I think they won that game based solely on the fact that Philly dropped the ball (literally many times).

1st TD panthers got against Philly, was very lucky. That ball was thrown way up in the air, if the DB's had turned around it would have been intercepted or at least knocked down...
Yes the Panthers have a great ground game
and yes Colts have a great passing offense
and Yes the Patriots will stop a team at what it does best, its game to game for this defense, they will come prepared to take away the run and force the the pass .
Just my thoughts thus far.
