This is a revenge game for the Patriots because the Colts beat them in NE last season 40-21 to get the monkey off their back and finally beat the Pats in NE? however ?in that game the Colts faced a Patriots defense that was missing half of it?s starters including a patchwork secondary?the Patriots are coming off a blowout MNF win while the Colts are off of a tough road struggle over the Broncos?this week I expect the Patriots to run the football 75 % of the time and pound a lousy Colts run defense with Corey Dillon and Laurence Maroney keeping possession of the football and Peyton Manning on the bench?the Colts are lucky to be undefeated because they barely escaped being beaten at home by the Jaguars and Titans and the Broncos on the road last week?I think the Colts luck will run out this week as I fully expect the Patriots game plan to be successful as they hand the Colts their first loss of the season?NE is 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games following a SU win by 14 pts or more and 5-1-1 ATS in their last 7 Home games vs a team with a winning record?Indy is 18-40-1 ATS in their last 59 games after allowing more than 150 yds rushing in their previous game and a HORRIBLE 1-8-1 ATS in their last 10 meetings with the Patriots.

Patriots Win!

Maybe its the contrarian in me but logic never applies in the NFL. Wouldnt touch this game for nothing, but after hearing all week how Indy cant stop the run wouldnt be surprised to see them stuff NE at the line of scrimage and force Brady to throw 70% of the time. Got better things to do with my time than bet against number 18.

More I consider more I am convinced Colts win. Brady and Belichek are tough no doubt. But defensively they wont stop the Colts. And DOn makes a good point about al the "talk" and we see it in thus thread as well. People are writing off an unbeaten team....

With the addition of Mcfarland, and having a week under his belt, will he not be a strong factor in this game? He could help shut down some of the running Brady wants to do.
Nobody has mentioned it, last week he was still getting used to his new team, I see him being a huge factor.

Nice thing about Belichek is he loves it when you "THINK" you might have him and his game plan figured out.Dont be surprised to see Ne PATS throw early and often. The second half they will run, run, run and RUN it up on the ground and on the score board.
You always hear the good coaches say " you are what you are" in terms of personel. The Colts ARE weak against the run-Period.Makes it difficult to beat a Coach like belichek when he has weapons to use a against you and your weakness.Belichek will expose colts run D at some point in this game

I was thinking the same thing...

Oh by the way, I'm not touching this game, even though I think the Pats will win, I'm just going to sit back, have a few beers and enjoy what should be a very entertaining game....

Good luck all and enjoy the game...

I think you will see Joseph addai have a big game for the colts. Indy's pass will set up a big day for him. he is a very talented rookie.

Colts GM .. We really hate you !

Colts GM .. We really hate you !

This quote from covers.com on last years game at Foxboro:
"The Patriots are reportedly still steamed at Colts general manager Bill Polian for his behavior in the Gillette Stadium press box last season.

During the Colts 40-21 win in Foxboro as 4 ?-point favorites last November, Polian reportedly pounded his fists on the table and made loud remarks throughout the game. He is also accused of shouting ?Break his leg? when a Colts lineman pursued a scrambling Doug Flutie in the dying seconds of the fourth quarter.

The Patriots are also not amused by the Colts previous complaints to the NFL about Foxboro?s playing surface.
