My kid is playing friday night in a high school doubleheader at paul brown stadium. May be the only decent football played in that stadium all year.

Boys are very excited to be playing there (although it will appear quite empty with only 5 or 8 thousand in attendance) Should be fun.

Proud Eddie will be there watching junior make some tackles (hopefully). Just braggin on the boy.

Thanks Stevie.

DD: Mariemont High School. Free safety. We are the second game of a high school doubleheader "Friday Night Lights". Rough season for the Warriors (1-7) and we are going up against the Cowboys of Wyoming High School (tied for first) in the Cincinnati Hills League.

Never know though. Kids haven't given up as 4 of there losses were in the last minute and were heartbreakers. Lots of sophmores starting on offense which is tough but we are playing alot better as they get experience.

Kids are really excited about playing at the stadium (frankly I'm probably more excited than they are). I assume they are going to use the big screen and of course I will get the tapes for posterity as I don't think little Ed will extend the football career to the next level.

Have to begin his training for a career with the ACLU. Anyway, look forward to watching some fun football (for a change) at PBS.

My High School plays at the ORIGINAL Paul Brown Tiger Stadium !!

I graduated from Massillon. We lost the 80 ( Jr year), & 82 State Title games to Moeller.

Lost the 2005 State Title game to Cincinnati St Xavier, 24- 17.

All of the State Title games are played at Massillon & Canton.

Just finished an indoor practice facility that rivals ANY NFL complex !!

And Massillion has yet to win a state title. Way to to fraudulantly act like Massillion has actually done anything on "Title Town, USA." Why'd the infamous Coach Stacey(sp?) head out of town after last year?? Why'd the admin guy retire suddenly?

Blitz:

No problem. Adult supervision. After the game, the parents are going out to the sports bars and our sons and some of the Bengals are going to hang with the kids. Little Eddie will be supervised by Chris Henry, Odell Thurmann and Chad Johnson. I feel comfortable leaving my son with the professional athletes who live and work in our community.

Eddie

PS: DD, was that Jerry Faust's Moeller teams?

Nice try, but.................

Massillon Facts-
Massillon has 22 state football titles

Massillon has 9 NATIONAL TITLES

3rd in the USA in victories, behind #1 Valdosta Ga. & #2 Male, KY.

#1 in victories in the state of Ohio

17,000 seat stadium named after Paul Brown

Has played before more than 8 million fans since inception

Has played Canton 116 times, winning 62, losing 49 and 5 ties

For historical information, visit MassillonTigers.com

Coach Stacy didn't chose anything. His contract was up, and the BOE didn't offer a renewal.

Sounds like we have a hater in the house
!!

Nice try yourself.

Massillion hasn't won a state title since the playoff system came into effect. All of their titles, PERIOD, ALL OF THEM, have come way of voters and "rewarding." I think the New York Giants prove that those titles don't mean SQUAT. If we voted for who we thought should be champions every year then nobody would consistantly correctly be honered the champion.

Also, Stacy left and didn't get renewed because of the rape scandal that him and many of the people above knew about. The kid was accused of it, admitted to it, yet he was never disciplined. Yet when the hammer came down, Stacy doesn't get renewed and the admin "retires." Yes people, we're talking about the same coach who brought Massillion out of the dumps that they were in after Rick Shepas left.

DT was acquitted in a court of law, and NEVER admitted anything.

Your buddy Stacey's teams got WORSE every year, and he had no discipline.

He was lucky enough to inherit a team from Shepas that was poised for a state title appearance.

Tell Notre Dame, Nebraska and Alabama that they have no National Titles !!

lost 43 - 21.

Eddie, did they not allow the African American kids and coaches to be in the mariemont team photo? Glad I have some good ammo now when you start your next dtb is racist thread.

Oh come on 65, there are two. They just had to sit in the back, top right corner away from the rest.
