depends on the size and number of people sharing on how long.
30 minute shows(175MB) take about 10-15 minutes with tons sharing.
1 hour shows(350MB) can take about 45 minutes.Less with tons sharing.

The movies come in two sizes normally 700MB range and takes anywhere from 1-2 hours.
And some get split into 2 cd's 700MB each and can take near 3 hours.
It all depends on connection, size, and sharing.

Where does one download the "vuze program"? I'd ask kegray but he'll just yell at me again.

And for what its worth some of the torrents don't work on a MAC.....so stop yelling at me:mj07:

You can get that program for free at Vuze.com. I'm on a MAC and all of the links from the original I sent will work you just have to allow a little bit of time for the them to download.

By the way for you and anyone else everything on piratebay is free, I don't subscribe to any "pay" sites

Can't beat the quality or ease of torrents.
I mean I just watched two movies before they even hit the theatres.
Like Kramer says on Seinfeld. "I was its premiere." :142smilie

And downloads outside of the torrent world are nowhere near as simple or of quality.
Get with the torrent program so I can cash another residual.

I couldn't agree with this more. I go to the movies but I find out which one have screeners (perfect DVD quality) online and download them then see what isn't available.

I had suggested Vuze because I figured it would be the easiest for him and it has a built in player so once it downloads he doesnt have to cross over to Divx (which I use).

I even went to the store and bought a cord to connect to the big screen HDMI so I can watch the movies on the tv.

Life is fun.

If you have other questions don't hesitate.

Google "Releaselognet" for movies that are available via torrent. Whole list of them when they hit the net.

You can buy a dvd player that has Divx on it. Walmart has Magnavox one for $25 or a PS3 will do as well.
Then you can burn to blank disc(I use Nero) and enjoy without using computer.

Also if you want to know what other people think of the quality of a flick before you download it then this is a great site if you have never been to it:
