Maybe I should just keep quiet, since I'm in the pay service category now, but remember, this is a business that will never get any respect because of all the scammers out there. The problem is the SCAMMERS and DISHONEST people out there are the ones you hear about 99% of the time. The bad gets talked about, and you never ever hear about the good. Bad news gets reported, Good news doesn't. People remember LOSING money on bad beats, but don't remember the times they WIN on fluke stuff...see where I'm coming from? Also, djv mentioned something about "coding" plays. Well, yeah, I know exactly what he means..I could tell some stories about the scammers, that I personally became aware of by basically stealing off the boards and making $ off certain people...I'll just leave it at that.

Keep up the nice work in tennis..a sport I rarely took any interest in before reading some of the stuff you put up.

to be honest I don't care if a pay service takes picks from a FREE FORUM.......as far as I'm concerened if info is out there then you can take it..........but in Gareth's case they use him for Rugby and then don't pay him.......

that kind of stuff just pisses me off..........and for someone like you that must really get to you...........hard to instill confidence in your business when your fellow "pay service" collegues act like that

Just in the car and was listening to my local sports talk station when these guys get on for about an hour and start talking about how gambling is a business and his clients should treat it like a business (no bets on there own just follow his advice). All sound like there from Brooklyn. Real heavy duty sell.

Then he starts talking about how he fires clients for not listening to his advice. He goes on further by saying how he's been ranked #1 by the Las Vegas Sporting News over the last three years. Guarantees you will make money if you follow his plan yadda, yadda, yadda.

What do you think these guys make off of people buying there dis-services. I mean buying an hour of radio time for these disinfomercials and putting them on, I assume, on a bunch of stations throughtout the country has to cost some good bucks. Any info?

I'm sure some of u have heard of the Amazing Cadillac Club service (I'm pretty sure now defunct). Well, these guys like most had a free pick line/score phone. One day, on this score phone, JD (Joe Duffy) was ranting about how he had the EXCLUSIVE picks of the TOP INTERNET HANDICAPPERS on his 900 line. Guys like White Lightning and, get ready now, CRACK RAT!!! LMFAO!! I about crapped my pants. On further investigation, Crack Rat was on a good run at that time posting his picks on a monitoring/consensus site called bi###y.com (won't advertise for them, some of u will be familiar with it). He was second or third on the top free handicappers list at that time. Yes, this is the same Crack Rat that went on the vegas trip and posted here and I think still does on occasion. In summary, JD of the ACC goes to that site, copies the plays of people putting them on there for free, and puts them out on his PAY 900 LINE. A HUGE CROCK O' SH*T, yet I'm sure there were suckers out there paying for it. Unreal!!

agree, fletcher, although I would argue very few out there that are honest like u. I would guess the best are people none of us have ever heard of. U only hear about the marketing barons like Feist, Feiner, etc. Don't have facts to back this, but would guess 95% of handicapping services are scam coin flippers out to steal your money leaving 5% who are honest.

iw ould go just a little lower 70-75 and that is what sucks and you are right the mas marketing guys are the biggest rip off ones who don't give a shit, they will pound people by phone till they buy . if word of mouth and a few radio and newpaper adds can't do it for you then you are a scammer no one is magic, and i know the coast to coast guys eddie was talking about they are fools and people buy them left and right they say if you have 1000 to play for the weekend we can make that about 15,000 to 20,000 by mon , i would like to see that trick hell my biggest play except boxing is 3 units and that has been about 15 times in a year. its dicks like root,feist and others who are marketers who hurt they real guys, one of the best hear little about him he has been around since mid 70's sycamore sports he is deadly in hoops and runs it like he always has small office like me and very few adds word of mouth. hell it is bad enough feeling sick when you have 30 or 40 people and you hit a cold streak, these guys have 1000's and could give a shit they flip games and don't even work its mass marketing and thats all they care about. they could give a rats ass if they win for you because they know they will have another 100 or so next wek due to marketing. i think it should have some type of regulation then you would see tons of the dropping off. nothing is worse then a theif or someone who has no feelings when they lose some not just 1 game but say 3 days in a row and you have a new person on board ,because most others if theybeen around with you they will be ok. then to tell someone tobet 1000's of bucks , i don't even ask what my clients unit value is worth it is none of my business ,its my business how many units are bet and **** these games of the year month bs all marketing there is no fixes inside info and can't miss winners guys like you talked about make me sick and give the 25-30% honset people a bad name because all the others care about is mass marketing and sales sales sales,half of them could not name i starting line up in all sports from 1 team in each sport the give out. done before i blow a vain to my brain. i and others sit here and work ass off and the big boys don't do shit but spend money on marketing and lies and most pictures you see of these guys are not even them they pay modles for pictures. unreal but you were in the ball park.
