i love my sprint pocket PC. Believe it is a 6700...i think cingular and verizon have a similar one...its a phone and pda...uses all microsoft applications (word, excel, power point etc). The only down fall is thr battery life is very short...i sometimes cannot make it through the day without having to recharge,...of course i am on the net and email often though which drains the battery

heres a link to the sprint version of the phone

http://www1.sprintpcs.com/explore/P..._PCode=None&CURRENT_USER<>ATR_cartState=group

hope this helps

CNote and Judge, I just got my 6700 2weeks ago(replaced my treo 700) and I don't like it. I just got back from taking the family to Disneyworld and it killed me while I was there. Half way thru the day it was totally dead. I could use my treo for the whole day and part of the next. I like the phone but to me it's not near as user friendly as the palm os version of the treo. Maybe I just need to get used to it.

Vinie, it really depends on what service you use. If it's Cingular then there are a lot better choices. There phones currently are by far better than sprints. I have a friend that just got a new pda from them and it's half the size(thick) as mine.

Layinwood, I feel the opposite. I traded a Treo 650 in for my Pocket PC and like it much more. True about the battery life but I just biught a spare and the docking station that comes with it has an extra slot for charging a second battery.

The internet capabilities are head and shoulders above anything else I have found as the Pocket PC is a true Windows based device which uses Internet Explorer.

go with the blackberry pearl. I just got it about 2 months ago, and have had no problems. yes the keys share letters, but it is not a problem typing. I think the pearl is only offered throug t-mobile. the internet is quick and easy to use.
