I don't think many books have changed it. Maybe it's worth a shot with Oakland?

Unfortunately I think the Red Sox will win without him. I wish I could play the over and not list Pedro ;)

cooz, no kidding you were right on target, Pedro is a little bitch, all this guy ever talks about is money. And this is exactly why Boston shouldn't have extended him for 18 million in spring training. If he had no contract for next season he would be playing tonight. That's what Boston got for 18 million, 7 ****ing wins.

What kills me is Boston always bad mouths Clemens, at 41 years old Roger is still more productive than little Pedro. Roger will have more strikeouts & more wins once again this season.

shamrock...i cant say i dont agree with you...this guy is not a "workhorse" by any means...he is fragile and is treated that way...and Roger even at this point in his career is still in tremendous shape and still pitches like it...

the only thing i will take issue with is the 7 wins...in my oponion..w/l is the most over rated statistic for a pitcher....i mean a guy can have 15 wins and his era is terrible as well as whip...and hit to strike out ratio....those type of stats are what matters to me...when he is healthy this guy is still a great pitcher...his numbers this year are tremendous...his run support has been abysmal....so i dont think we can associate the number of wins to the way he has pitched this year....

i mean look at LOWES win loss....there is absolutely no way..that reflects the way he has pitched this year...and talk about a BIATCH...lol..

all in all....PEDRO is still a great pitcher....just needs to be handled like a BIATCH..lol

agree with everything you say regarding statistics. Clemens was leading the League in strikeouts & era was very respectable when his victories dipped due to terrible run support & awful bullpen yet he is always ripped in Boston. That always pisses me off.

This game is gigantic for Sox, huge swing either out 3 or 1. Baseball is a different game, but toughness is a issue in any competitive setting in my eyes. Bird Bledsoe or Neely would not miss this game for a flu or whatever. Its not his arm and permanent or long term injury shouldn't be a issue. As the person the team looks to 4 leadership I just think he should take the ball and give them 3 innings or whatever. I think him stepping up would go a long way in sparking this struggling team.

Win or lose, I truly think this game tonight will go a long way determining the rest of the season. Either everyone steps up and they get a victory, without little Pedro. Or the end starts tonight and things get ugly from tonight on.

Anyway on to important things, who you playing, you have been hot as Hell, congratulations and good luck tonight.
