be kissing Westerkamp and Kellog's asses all weekend--saved his job for another week. Watched the 1st half with Poon. Neb can not tackle-like Poon said it looks like flag fotoball sometimes. Playng calling does not make sense. But they won. Watching some Neb fans afterwads they were happy they are now bowl elgible--never would have heard that from Neb fans before-good Neb fans would have been disapointed with how NW outplayed them at home and they had to win with a hail mary.
Being an alum as well as a father of two alum from UNL, Bo is the stupidest coach in Nebraska football history when it comes to decision making, hiring asst coaches and being publicly in the news for his shenanigans. My guess is he will not return after this year, no matter how well they end up doing, even if they win in a bowl game. Callahan was atrocious as well, but BO takes the cake. The team was doing well with Armstrong at QB in place of injured 4 year Dr Jeckyl/Mr Hyde award winner, Taylor Martinez, and Kellogg had been a scout team QB for the past 10 years, he's going to be a very good pro QB in the CFL, his dad was one of the kids that started as a soph thru senior year at Omaha NW HS in the early 80's and played at KU, Ron Sr, I got to know Ron pretty good when I worked for a recruiting magazine back in the day "BLUECHIPS", anyways, Ron is pretty tight with Omaha area kids, many have gone onto play at Nebraska, you may remember, Calvin Jones (Omaha Central HS) and Ahman Green, so happens to have played at (Omaha Central HS) as well, they were on the scope when I was reffing lil league fb on Sunday morn's and wrote Dr Tom a few times to get those kids into Nebraska, he followed up pretty good on 'em I reckon, anyways, Nebraska needs someone new in charge and they may go hard after Boise HC or the Asst @ Clemson, but they really need to get a defensive coordinator wizard to put the "BLACKSHIRTS" back on earth, as this team like you said, Hawk, "CAN'T TACKLE". Mike Rozier is making a strong push as well for a new skipper and he's had ties back in Jersey for last few years and steered kids from NJ to stay away from Bo and his recruiting staff, most of those kids have been going elsewhere, like Rutgers and Penn St.
Good stuff Hawk!!
BO MUST GO, BO MUST GO!
Ok, off my soapbox now!!
