After a very uninspiring performance agains Carolina the Penguins get the New Jersey Devils tonight, eewww. Looks like the line makers have this one just about nailed by posting the O/U at 4.5, was really hoping to see 5 on this one, but 4.5 is the right number. Unfortunatly for my beloved black-n-gold this is a team that will frustrate and give fits to them all night long, NJ is very patient and can capitalize on any mistake, which I look for the Penguins to make at least a few given the quality of the competition. Damn it......

I should add that while I think this game still goes under 4.5 I see the Penguins maybe getting in penalty trouble that could lead to a couple more goals for the Devils. This could be a 3-0 or 4-1 type of game so the total is way too tough to call.

i KNOW that NJ should be pissed off because of that last minute loss to florida, but something in the back of my mind says that i like pitts chances tonite for a tie as ALL of Nj'S games have been within a goal....

Just got in and missed the first period dammit. Noboby would be happier to be wrong on this one than me, but I just think NJ does enough to get the "W" here, currently 1-0 so it will be a close one and anything can happen. Certainly know the Pens can use every point they can squeeze out right now, would like to see a playoff game in Pittsburgh again.

Sickening so far.... out shooting them 26-14 and yet tied??? FLEURY needs a reality check and have his bubble burst pretty quick.... two quick DEVIL goals just may do it. If NJ doesn't score early in third, PITT may get confident.

Chuck, FYI betting ON the Penguins with the puck line would have you plus money this year, not a team I would just blind fade, as a matter of fact fading them on the puck line so far would have you a 3-3 record and a minus bankroll.
