Yah, he can be a pretty sharp guy. I am really glad this type of opinion is getting more play.

I was also encouraged by hearing that congressman "come out" and say he doesn't believe in "god".

I know atheists are not in the majority, but they are a bigger portion of this countries population than acknowledge.

I mean, ONE politician admitted on the national level. Does that mean less than 0.25% of the country is atheist? There has got to be others out there, that simply pretend they believe in god to be elected.

Let's sniff them out.

Stating you believe in god is unlikely to offend all but a tiny sliver of atheists. By being atheist, they most likely at some point questioned whether there was a supreme being or not. As a result, they are more open to people with other beliefs.

However, saying you don't believe in god seems to offend a much greater number of believers. They seem to get really riled up and take it personal - in general - when you say you dont believe in god. It is as if you are challenging their belief system by stating your own opinion. Once again, this is generally, there are many people that this does not describe.

If the atheists ever organize, they will become one of the most powerful groups in the country. However, it's not likely to happen anytime soon, since this group is shunned more than blacks, muslims, and homosexuals. You have to love living in a world where believing in a magic book and a supernatural being makes you "normal".

nothing to to with his opinions......

Too bad he doesn't improve his Vegas show. Totally sucked. Like to not only get my $$ back but more importantly the time spent there. Could have better spent it shopping and buying Vegas tourism t-shirts.

There is a book out now that is selling like hotcakes called Secrets or The Secret. It shows you how you can do anything you want if you put you mind to it and think positive. I think it is the best selling book in america. What the fools buying it can't figue out is the secret is the money the guy selling it is getting. What a collection of knuckleheads we have here in America. By the way i said what the hell and tried it Friday and it almost worked. I almost won all my CBB plays then my last two which were my favorite lost. Something tells me in those two games the players who beat me had the same exact book and out numbered me with their positive thoughts.

I am kind of a numbers guy, and i need u to quantify that.

I mean is there a measurable unit to positive thoughts.

Like did u have 4 PT to their 5 PT so thought they out thought you. I understand the positive and negative aspect. that is simply linear.

U see like when i spilled and broke the milk bottle, to me that was a negative thing.

Like when i stole a car, again just a negative thing.

But lets for a moment quantify the 2.

i will say for arguments sake that:

Milk = 1 N or -1
Car = 128594 N or -128594

Now lets break it down further, more relative to this discussion. like Thoughts.

PT ( Positive thought)
NT ( Negative thought)

U see i dont think that the players had more PT than u, it may have been a case where u let some NT into the equation.

Like in such joy of winning 8 games earlier, u went to celebrate and surfed porn, to allow many NT to counter your already previously established PT.

This may be something that we need to consider.

So in the next book you will see that i will lay out the "measurable" units of thought.

And of course i will extensively research, study and do field examinations to verify my results. All of which will be ready for publication in 4 hours.

U see with such satire, i can prove that people will just about believe, buy or even worship just about anything.:scared

I swear Padre the only negative thought was when the coach took his team out of the game by making his team foul only down 5 with 140 to go against the best foul shooting team in the nation. Then all the negative energy poured out. I don't know maybe you have a point. Next time a tragedy happens in the world i will ask only one person to pray. I think you may be on to something.

Huh? Are you thinking of agnostic?

Theist = Person who believes in a god or gods
Gnostic = Possessing knowledge, esp. esoteric knowledge of spiritual matters.

Throw an "A" in front of either of these terms and you have someone that is the opposite of that definition.
