Adrian Peterson suspended for the remainder of the year. Anyone else surprised? I thought maybe a large fine and immediately back to work since he already missed enough games. I'm sure he and the NFLPA will appeal.

It's really too bad. Peterson was nearing the end of his career and this season could very well have been his best and maybe his last chance to have a great year. Sometimes one careless, thoughtless moment can change everything.

However, I doubt he'll put up the same numbers as Demarco. He's not as good as he use to be. Also, I bet if Demarco goes somewhere else he won't put up the same type of numbers he did this year, but he'll get paid a lot. Oh well.........

If Adrian Peterson plays for Dallas and he gets the same type of blocking then you will forget about Murray. He's still a beast
Not as good as he used to be? what are you smoking? he just put up 2000 yards 2 years ago and solid numbers last year....ok he is nearing 30 but hes not the typical end of all careers for RB's at that age, he could put up stud numbers for 3 more years no problem
