Of course I would be praising him on his "spread awareness" had I had Louisville. The dignified move in that situation cis to kneel and walk across and shake hands- Game Over

I'm sorry, but the more I think about it....this post is absurd.
Louisville was not up by 30+ points. The game was still in doubt. Not much chance of Pitt coming back, but a slight chance.
They can't give Pittsburgh the ball back. If they kneel down, Pitt COULD use timeouts. Would they? Who knows.
During the game, these teams are enemies. Each one trying whatever they can to win the game.
I don't think winning by 22 and securing the victory is running it up at all. If they had been up by 17 or more, then you might have a point.
Blame Pitt for not using timeouts. Don't blame a coach for winning a game.

I'm not saying the line didn't come into play. I have no idea. But running the ball 15 times in a row to end the game is not running the score up. Especially when the other team has timeouts and you are up by only 2 possessions.

Listen Jesus, they scored w/40 sec. left. Actually they put themselves in more danger by running plays- fumble ect. Wanstedt was not calling TO's because they had conceded. Sure Pitt knew they were going to run and had the opportunity to stop them- I accept that, but the only coaches who would have ran that last play are:

Pat Hill - Fresno
Steve Spurrier - So Car
and the Boise St. dude

maybe Bob Stoops because he pulled one of these last year vs. Kansas

Touchdown Jesus-The play is to show sportsmanship, take a knee when you can run ouy the clock, and never embarress an opponent with a pile-it-on TD.I played plenty of football through college, and feel strongly that this isn't the way it should be done.To say he had to do it to protect his 13 point lead with a minute to go is absurd.

If you guys think last night was a bad beat, it's fairly apparent you've never been reamed by Spurrier when he was at Florida.

Your anger wouldn't allow you to finish typing a thought.

Halfway through, you'd pick up your keyboard and smash it into your monitor screen.

Then you'd throw your monitor/keyboard and cpu through your living room window.

I just don't see it as classless. I'll agree to disagree. The one thing I will say is that by taking knees, they risk giving Pitt the ball back with time on the clock and only up 2 possessions.
I know your saying Pitt conceded, and they probably did. But you have no idea if they would take the timeouts or not.
I see your point, but to me its not that big of a deal to run the ball in that situation. I don't see it as rubbing it in the face.
I just see that they ran it right down Pitt's throat the whole drive, and see very little difference in stopping at the 4. Either way, Pitt should feel like shit for that last drive.

The knee has burned me and the knee has saved me.
Always works both ways in the long run.

Bought my tickets off of a Gator fan at the HOTEL, did not cost me a red cent the whole trip, all $$$ won on Spurrier's kick em in the nuts :nutkick
