I get sick of the "best ever" shit also.

He's Dan Fouts, Fran Tarkenton, Jim Kelly

Oh no, Kelly and Tark made it to the Super Bowl.

I agree

I agree

He's not one of the best ever.. not even close....

He's put up inflated numbers playing in the dome....

How many times can a guy lead a good team, with home field advantage in the playoffs and not make it to the big game?

He is not a clutch quarterback by any means. Way overrated. Too many meaningless stats.

What has he won? Nothing.

All I know is - Give Farve or Elway HF advantage that many times - with a good team around them - and they both would have won 3-4 Superbowls...

Or I could have used a better example - Tom Brady, I guess....

Boy, it runs in the Mannings, doesn't it?

Archie - Loser
Peyton - Loser
Eli - Also a loser

you would think out of 3 of them, 1 of them wouldn't be a loser... oh well. That's genes for you....

uh...I wouldn't go that far...his little brother is no where close to him...

my point is...I'm SO SO sick of hearing about him as being 1 of the best QB's ever....his name shouldn't even be mentioned until he wins a SB....always a big name no show...

Everyone always compares Brady to Manning,
Saying Brady is part of a system, that is why he wins, Manning plays great that is why they are always in contentsion, WHAT A JOKE

I can't figure out why they aren't taking more small plays, dinking and dunking like they have all post season...they're going for the big plays and NE has the right defense called most of the time...

Maybe if he wasn't running for his life on every play,he could muster up something !!!

colts have one of the best olines in the league...maybe if he didnt laeve them in their stance for the whole play clock every play they would be even better.

First of all, I'm not a big Manning fan and I'm losing my ass with the Colts today!
To the lay person it appears Manning is choking. But I'm sorry, you rush 4 and get in Mannings face like the Pats have done, who's fault is it?? That's 7 covering 3 or 4... doesnt matter who the QB is. If Dungy isnt reaming his offensive line or changing to a quick 3 step drop then HE is to blame period! Can Dungy make this adjustment ??? :nono:

Brett Favre (even though hes past his prime) is a great qb.

Tom Brady is a great qb.

Ben Roethlisberger (maybe young and stupid) is a great qb.

There you have it, stick Manning in with the likes of McNabb, Garcia, Bulger, McNair, Hasselback, Delhomme, etc.
