Philadelphia at Montreal (3) 23rd, 24th, 25th
The Expos went out west last week to play the front-running Giants and the always tough at home Rockies and acquitted themselves (5-2) in fine fashion. The Montreal pitching staff (3.47 ERA, 3rd in the NL) continues to propel them, especially at home (14-8, +$410). But the Phillies are hardly pushovers on the road and their weakness vs. lefties is negated as Montreal has no southpaw starters. The projected match ups favor the visitors as Kevin Millwood (8-5 lifetime with a 3.79 ERA) and Brett Myers (2.51 ERA, 8.2 H&W ratio last two starts) are set to take the hill. BEST BET: Millwood/Myers.
