The Eagles first team looks to rebound after a poor performance against the Patriots last Thursday. They were effective in moving the ball, driving three times inside the Patriots 30, but ultimately settled for three field goal tries. The QB depth right now is a concern, as Kevin Kolb is still out with an injury and Michael Vick unable to play until week three of the preseason.
After passing the ball 42 times last week, I look for the Eagles to go to a more run-oriented attack tonight. The defense should be motivated as well after allowing two long TD drives by the Pats in the first half.
The Colts seem as interested in the preseason as always, which is to say not at all. I like the Birds to win this game and keep the Colts under 10 points.
