Larry Bowa was suspended for 1 game for "inciting" the benches to clear during spring training, when Toranto's pitcher Roy Halladay hit Jim Thome with a pitch and Bowa came out yelling an inning later at Halladay. The suspension is effective for the Third game today Thursday 4/3 against the Florida Marlins. Vice president of dicipline Bob Watson annouced the offial annoucement after the Phillies defeated the Marlins. Larry Bowa is not expected to appeal the decision and will serve the 1 game suspension.
