COLORADO ROCKIES -125 ? Colorado?s John Thomson got lit up at Arizona last week, allowing 6 runs in 2.1 innings. However, I like him to bounce back tonight vs. the struggling Phillies. Thomson has some talent, but his stats will never reflect that as long as he pitches at Coors. In his last 4 starts vs. Philadelphia, he has a 3.46 ERA and a very good WHIP of 1.27. These number look even better when you consider that 2 of those starts were here at home. Adams is off to an 0-2 start with a 5.71 ERA, and he does not have an altitude alibi to fall back on. Worst of all, he has a very high WHIP of 1.73, a figure which should take an even worse hit tonight in this ballpark.
