A little explanation about the 4th bets

A little explanation about the 4th bets

Sometimes, ideas are more important than plicks and here's some just for conversation among hossplayers. :)

I'm very familiar with most of the horses in that 4th race and my favorite among them is the no. 1 hoss, Tipyourwaiterwell. That hoss is a lot like "Little Jimmy" which is a hoss with excellent early runner that can usually handle the late runners that can leave bite marks in your/my ass. "Tip" would have been my pick, BUT, TYWW Looked terrible in the pre race. That meant, he wasn't ready to WIN today, but still good enough for 2nd place. That is why the exactas looked weird.

Sorry bout this part, maybe what follows will make up for it, ... there were two side bets for the 4th, to WIN... . nos. 7 and 8. Didn't post them cause I had to rush and, besides, nobody's reading this anyways. :mj07:

Oh, forgot to write - the amount of bets to win on each of those two Win bets was just enough to get back the total bets I made for that race. Side bets sometime yield a profit, sometimes get you even, and (like today) make the losses of other tickets pretty much painless. If you're confident enough, they are good things but they can also ADD to the total damage.

So far for today, I got some HUGE bite marks from the 3rd race fiasco, a pile of losing tri., exacta, and win tickets - all lossahs! :00x5
Gotta work on getting that back with the later races.

EDITED: 2 and 6 are side bets in the 6th , 3 min to post.
G.L.

Oh, man

Oh, man

I guess nobody believes it, I DID post those two L@@KERs with 2 to 3 mins. before post. AND those two nos. make a GREAT combo. number-wise for exacta nos. too. NO, I didn't catch the exacta.

Results for me was almost identical to the last race I posted; No. 2, Discreet Lover provided a decent cushion to reduce damage again. That helps, but it's gonna be bad day if I have to continue with Side bets saviors.

That "cancel this wager" is just a button you can press to cancel a bet; guess I shouda done it. Small bets today, too many tickets in that 3rd race though. I also had trifectas (12 stinkin $1 ticket bets worth) in the 9th. LOOSAHS. :(

Two kinds of hossplayers run to the track or wherever they can catch the Breeders Cup races (races between CLONES that are nearly impossible to figure) and those kind of players are true race horse enthusiasts and go to see the cream of crop hosses compete like I used to do AND ENJOYED doing it when I was in N.J. and could hit the N.Y. twacks. The others go to look for them BIG, juicey B.C. payoffs. The latter should run to Philly cause they would find plenty of "playable" races with B.C. prices or even better. Check out some of those exacta payouts and ESP. trifecta 4 figure payouts in Philly. Actually, there were a few FIVE figure trifecta payouts this season at Philly.

Horses are coming in from other tracks a lot lately and maybe that ain't helping me at all. Used to be a time when Tues. was a lucky day (caught some BIG LUNKERS alright) at this track, maybe tomorrow's card will look better than today's?

Seeyas soon.
