Like Cleveland +7.5 here

Just by glancing at this spread...you might wanna jump
on Philadelphia....but I like the home team here.

I like taking home teams - getting points - with a center
against a team with no center.

I also ran Philly's road record this year

@ Orlando Loss 88-95 line + 5.5 Loss
@ Milwauk Loss 105-110 line + 5.5 Win
@ Boston Loss 81-91 line +3 Loss
@ NY Win 93-92 line -5 Loss
@ NO Loss 98-99 line +4 Win
@ Memphis Win 95-88 line -5 Win
@ Toronto Win 94-84 line -5.5 Win

These final score show me that the game is competive on the
road. All we need tonite is a competitive game from Cleve.

Plus Philly's wins have been against stiff comp.

Tonite's game 7.5 is the biggest margin Philly will be laying
on the road this year. I feel that this is too high.

Cleve Home record

Lakers Win 89-70 line +3.5 Win
Wash Lose 79-93 line +2 Lose
Dallas Lose 99-103 line +13.5 Win
SA Lose 77-90 line + 9 Lose
NO Lose 84-97 line +6 Lose
Sacre Lose 85-91 line +10 Win

Cleve's has played the league best at home.

No blowout tonite.
Philly's gonna need 36 from Iverson tonite just to win.

I'm with ya on cleveland. I am also a fan of the home dog. The best NBA teams win about 50% of their road games which to me means that if you take the home dog, there is a 50% chance that you will win straight up without the points and an even better chance you will cover with the points

Recap

Recap

Final Score Philly 106 Cleve 99
Cleve +7.5 Win

Recap:
Cleve outplayed Philly in the 1st and 4th and even in the second
They got smoked in the third and that's where the game was lost.

Philly had all five starters in double figures
Only 13 points off the bench - OUCH !
Cleve : 26 pts off the bench

Cleve dominated the boards 52-38
+7 on the Offensive...see my above note about centers at home

Other notables...
Free Throws
Cleve : 17-27
Philly: 20-23

Turnovers:
Cleve : 19
Philly: 10

Leading scorer:
Iverson 29
Wagner 29 (This kid is gonna be sweet)

Difference in the game: Iverson

Synopsis:
Philly has Iverson and Cleveland doesn't have a goto superstar.
Young teams (Cleve) turn the ball over WAY too much.
Hit your free throws.
If Cleve were a better team - Philly would have lost tonite.
Got lucky with the hook (.5) tonite

Wagner was very good, but Boozer kept the Cavs in the game when it looked like Philly was going to run away with it. 15pts, 11 boards, 3 steals in only 24 minutes...real nice.

Nice addition HOOPS

I saw that...but didn't want to sound so winded.....

I also believe it you analyze WHY a team won
it helps you cap better in the future than analyzing
WHY a team lost. It puts you in a better frame of mind
when picking games.
It allows you to see both strengths and weakness of ALL teams.

Instead of saying that team was horrible...and then after the game say.."I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY FAWKING WON ?"

I'll try to do this after both wins and losses

Thanks Mr. Christo

That quote was meant for future wagers

Say...Philly is Favorite by 7 on the road at Houston

I will lean towards Houston...the better team than Cleveland
