I'll be happy when this week is done and YES, I'm still pissed about that freaking last race yesterday.

How can I not be... put $242 and change through the windows yesterday, collected a tot. of $78 back. Now, if the stewards left that last race alone.. I woulda got $378 back for the day. UGH!

Don't care that much for today's card and not that confident about the picks neither. Now, let's see what happens....

4th race:
Pick: no. 5 (MAYBE just play this one W/Pl/Show@2x and forget the rest for this race.)

Zacta factas: 2,4,7

Side bet (win, only): haven't decided; it's between the no. 3 (8-1) and 4 (4-1). Gotta get out the binoculars during the prerace.

6th race:
Pick: no. 5

Zacta factas: 2,3,4,7

Side bet,win only: 8 (12-1)

Ass burner: If you only go with the exactas and they finish 5-8. Hmmm.. maybe this IS the bet you should tail today.

7th race:
Pick: no. 9

Zactas: no. 2 top/bot w. 3,4,9

Side action: no. 3 (15-1) - Win/Place/Show@2x. NOTE: IF they bet this one down to under 5-1, forget the side play.

9th race:
Pick: Goes like this - got no. 6 rated WAY higher than any of the others. But, I've watched this one in it's last several races and didn't care for the way he ran/looked. Mixed feelings about this one coming off a bit of a vacation too. So far, I'm thinking about just going the ONE stinkin dollar trifecta route -> boxing 1-3-6 and the 1-3-5. IF there is a side play, it's on no. 3 (4-1 and this horse will prob. go off higher).

Race 2:
Many entrants headed for the near bottom rung of the claiming races. Taking a chance with Premium Justice WPS(3X)

Paying the dirt bombs back today :)

Paying the dirt bombs back today :)

I didn't make it to the 'puter in time for the second.

So far, I'm having a FIELD DAY today. Even the little adjustments I made (not the horses I bet, but how much I bet on them. F'rinstance, I doubled up on the 2-9 Zacta in the 7th and that really paid off.) worked out GREAT. :)

I watched some replays for horses that I listed and noted how good that "Please Be Quiet" hoss looked in his previous races. That paid off alright.

Here's something that you might be interested in in, Hammy - I always check the weather forecast and handicapped for a sloppy or at least a wet racetrack. That resulted in me doubling up on that no. 8 hoss, side bet, in the 6th. If you have the pp's, check out that no. 8 and you might see what I mean.

Always looking to help out a real hossplayer, like you - Hammy. And... congrats to the Peepers today... so far paying yas back for yesterday's blunders. :)

Oh, .. that "Layers" horse in the last is a mudder. I just don't like how that one looked in it's recent races though? I gotta do some "spotting" (for L@@KERS, that is) in that race.

Made the right moves today but I gotta admit - just maybe LUCKY TUE$ may have something to do with what's happening today. LOL.

I see they're betting that no. 6 (Layers) in the last race... that figures.

Hammy, you still around? I'll see if there's time to post the L@@KERS if you are.
