Back to good ole :00x7 Land.

Didn't plan on posting last Tues. or yesterday (or today, for that matter) but things went a bit better than expected.

Here we/ME goes again, :violin: (but I just gotta tellyas), those were two of the bestest day I've had in quite awhile. On Tues. it was the PICKS that did great and not so much the size of the money bag I "took home". Them dang favorites pretty much killed my chances of pulling in a big lunker (zackta). Tough way to make moola by coming up with very nice double digit longshots only to watch the dang big favorite kill the zackta price. :(
Woulda had a big day if I bet double the amounts on every race I played this past Tues., but just don't do the reasonable sized bets thingy unless my confidence is very high. Bet there's a big betting ROBOT out there that has more confidence in the picks THAN I DO.
Yesterday, it was knowing how that track plays that worked (to perfection) and not that much the picks. LUCK plays a big part of this game and ya gotta help it with everything you can to make it happen.
Forum members know that this game ain't easy for any of us.

Wrap up for those 2 days went like this....

Tues.
1st race - made a dumb bet on zacktas, hit it, and lost money cause the thang paid peanuts.
4th race - No. 4 was a LOOKER supreme, Hit it to win ($13+) and hit the zackta, but that freakin big favorite hurt the prices. Still, profitable to put a smile my face after that wace. :)

5th race - hit an exacta that unexpectedly paid very little. Another "wash".

6th race - Was very happy to see my super longshot of the day finish second (had it w/pl/show@2x). HUGE place/Show payoffs. No zacta plays in this race for me. And does the favorite, as expected, come in with it? NOT REALLY... zackta paid $1126.80. SON-ah-Ma- BEACH!!!

Actually, there was only one way I woulda hit that - woulda hadda wheel that longshot pick top AND bot and there was no way I woulda done that in that race.

Nuthin much after that cept a $27 zackta in the 9th that added a nice after taste to the day.

Yesterday
Won't bore yas with the details, just a few small zactas for the early and mid day waces. But, I AM GONNA bore yas with the last wace results cause it's a nice example of what I do and write about in here -> study ONE track (maybe two if ya got the time) and BET small. .No, didn't catch a big bonanza in this last race but can ya figure out how many stinkin 1 dollar zactas I can now play, ON THE HOUSE, after this race? Of course, many will be for $2. Sure wish this one woulda been for $2 and that was kind of dumb I didn't do just that cause betting two horses top/bot with only 3 others ain't that much at all.

COMPLETED: 2cb89-42644 PRX #9 $8 Win 2,3 none $ 16.00 $ 0.00 - $ 16.00
COMPLETED: 23841-bea43 PRX #9 $1 Exacta 4,5,9,WT,2,3 none $ 6.00 $ 107.40 + $ 101.40

Winning exacta was 4-2. How did I come up with that? NOT by liking the no. 4 hoss who was 45 to 1 (although I have POSTED bigger winning pickS before in here). It was by thinking and hoping that it was time for the BIG PHILLY BOMBER that was overdue and also that the 9th race is usually a good candidate for being the race for that to happen. Weak favorite in this race also helped me come up with this one. It also came from liking the nos. 2 an 3 hosses a lot in this race. I used the 3 longest shots with them and LUCK did the rest.

Haven't put two days in a row like these two in awhile and thinking just MAYBE a third one? I'll give it a go and post somethig for today. Start off with one pick and see if any NON-robots are around to keep it going. I HOPE to be around for the early races today.

4th race: Sorry, not much here... Top rated pick is no. 3 (5/1 M.L.), MY opinion is no. 4 (4/1 M.L.). Maybe just a shot at the Win spot for one of them cause the dang favorite keeps killing exacta prices and the favorite, no. 1 OR 1A look like good candidates to do just that.

I better post another one cause those 4th race thoughts prob. won't help anybody...

6th race: 5,6 top/bot 8,9.

The race you/me really wants to hit today is the 8th and what a freaking puzzle that one is.

Almost impossible to come up with something.. but I'll keep on trying.

Good Luck, y'awl

NOW ya talkin, NY Mets. :)

BTW, I spent a LOT of time at my sister's/bro-in-law's house in Warminster. Have a ton of fond memories of almost living with them in that area. Remember hitting a place called Liberty Bell out that way and Philadelphia Park was about 5 or so miles away. Really liked checking out Philly city as well, but some of the surrounding suburbs are just beautiful.

edited: got to mention something about no. 6, St. Andrews, in this 2nd race. Horse needs to hang out in the paddock with a bag over it's head. Bred to win Breeders Cup races and he can't even lift a leg when he gets on a wacetwack. Orig. owner threw away 50 Gs on this nag. I musta thrown away 50 dollars TOTAL the few time I played it LOL.

Somebody hit this one early today, opened at 2 to 1, now about 6 to 1. Interesting race, I just might make it a total of $52 today. :)

a little mo stuff

a little mo stuff

Looks like my LAST $2 on that nag was a charm; went for a whole 4 stinkin dollars on that race, covering the place spot.

Andrew plodded along the whole race after a lazy ass start. Don't know where the late energy came from for this gelding to get up for 2nd place, prob came from A.P. Indy, Lemon Drop Kid, or most likely from Slew.

COMPLETED: -4bcd PRX #2 $2 WP 6 none $ 4.00 $ 7.20 + $ 3.20

Nice to collect something on it. Let's see, how much is bag of popcorn at this joint?

Damn, the 2 dollar "throw away" special I had marked for this race got scwatched. :(

That leaves no. 4 and at only 4-1 in a race for degenerates, that may not be good enough.

they're almost done loading ... didn't bother with this 3rd race.

GREAT.. now I feel good about skipping that race.. another 2 favorites jobbie. Those kind of results are not Philly's style and they've been popping up too often.

Just in case you have to leave a little early - AFTER a long time trying to figure that 8th one out a long while ago... I'll give ya where I'm at now with the PUZZLE - as of now, I think no. 6, Stolen Dance, is the key. AND if that no. 1 goes off even HALF of it's morning line... you gotta do something with that hoss.

Even though you're a NY Mets fan, I'm gonna work on figuring more about this race. Prob. post something later but don't wait for me if you're gonna miss that race, it should be very worthwhile if you can nail it. Scwatches woulda been helpfull and wouldn't ya know it - there ain't none.

Just joking about them Mets BTW. Made sure I checked out Shey (Shay?) stadium a few times before leaving for palm trees, sunshine, no mo colds, and high humidity and working for peanuts. :)
I ain't into baisebawl much except watching them hopeless Cubs once in awhile and that's only for their dedicated fans too.

Got DISPATCHED, phitt--------->UGH (an arrow to the heart).

No. 6 did all his running late and it just wasn't quite enough. Dang 5/2 shot wins race.

Play L@@KERs? Well, 3 and 7 looked a bit better than the rest in that 8th Horses all look hot (temp) today.

Gotta resort to a looker to come out with only a reasonably mild headache today. Too many $5s and $10s flew away in that 8th.

Well, nos. 7 and 8 has some LOOKS in the 9th.

edited: What's going on at this track? Field of 10 dirt bags and again two favorites complete the zackta.

That no. 7 may be worth following next time.

Notice all them 6s and 7s in them 8th race trifectas played? They do very well together in tries; usually with the no. 1 or 2.

Wrap it up

Wrap it up

Actually, only one race really mattered today.

2nd race: caught the place money on Andrew for a small profit.. and I mean SMALL.

4th: Went with the one with the better odds to WIN. Losah, but barely felt it.

6th: No. 9 returned scratch money. No 8, the key, ran out of gas alright. Man, did this one EVER throw up the big umbrella in the stretch. Small loss on zacktas.

8th: KABONG
poop.gif

The more I thought about that race, the more I liked it - AND the more I liked the 6 and the 1. Added quite a few more tickets than I posted here. Overall, I threw away about fifty bucks. Nos. 6 and 7 all over the place, but that 5/2 shot (no. 9) was not on a single ticket.

I watched that no. 6 hoss, Stolen Dance, pretty close like and got a feeling that one may be a bettor's friend in future races.
